I went during the off season.

Fairly quiet in January with warm winter sunshine. The sea at Bodrum beach was clean and the water flat and calm, but a bit cold for swimming. Plenty of cats patrolling around the beach side restaurants. I recommend Dinc restaurant and cafe on Bodrum Beach. Very good service from head waiter Mehmet and the house white wine is very good. Loved the food, it was warm and tasty with lots of deserts and icecream. Breakfast with salads, baked eggs, pancakes and fruits. Every time the waiters asked if we wanted water or something else to drink. Cocktails where also very good. Room was oke, cleaned every day with fresh towels.
