CanadaBeautiful location set in the village about a km from Marangu gate. Close to a waterfall for swimming and at night a welcoming fire to sit by. Food was great and plentiful. Lots of trails to explore in the area and the opportunity to hike Kilimanjaro for a day hike or to the top.
To get to the home stay you can go by boda boda or taxi from marangu town/bus station; the roads to the village are very rough.
Staff and host did everything to make our stay very pleasurable. Thank you.
