Just lovely. Some development since I was last here. Felt upgraded and fresh. Great views and access to the beach and activities. Mohammed was excellent at organising things. All the staff were smiley and helpful.

Everything. Beautifully made and run. Food is fantastic. Petra & Tomas are such amazing & friendly people. Their labour of love is the perfect place to unwind and have fun. Music, dance floor, darts, pool and a pool. The family bungalow with two rooms was perfect for our family of 3. Thank you Petra and Tomas for the wonderful stay.

Being close to both modern and local restaurants added convenience and variety to our stay, while the availability of guides at the gate made exploring Zanzibar effortless. The complimentary breakfast at Mia Hotel is unbelievable. It’s not just a meal; it’s a culinary experience that sets the perfect tone for the day. From freshly prepared dishes to a wide variety of options, every bite reflects the care and expertise of the hotel’s talented chef, Mudryk. It was one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had, and it’s included in the already affordable price – an incredible value! One of the most unforgettable aspects of our trip was the people of Zanzibar and Tanzania. They are some of the most lovable, kind, and welcoming people we have ever encountered. Their warmth, generosity, and genuine hospitality touched our hearts and made our trip truly special. The staff at Mia Hotel exemplified this spirit of kindness and dedication. Azad, the manager, is a standout professional who amazed us with his ability to handle every task we entrusted to him with precision and care. Sihan, another manager, showed the same level of commitment and attentiveness. Michael, a humble and incredible individual, won us over with his kindness and wonderful personality. Adolf, Ramson, Judith, Philip, and all the staff – were beyond words, consistently going above and beyond to make us feel at home. Everything, the staff was so kind and helpful. The room was always clean. I would say the breakfast was excellent every day. We had great fruits like mango, banana, pineapple, passion fruit, all the local fruits. Quite an experience.

the property is secluded which is exactly what we were looking for. When we did want to venture into town transfers were handled and it was always smooth and straightforward. The food was spectacular! you can request to eat anywhere on the property to enjoy whatever view you’re feeling (pool, lobby, room etc). Each day a few options for lunch were shared, and a set menu for dinner. Food was fresh, generous portions and scrumptious. We got a nice mixture of Zanzibari cuisine and international options.

    Michamvi is good for relaxing and enjoying . There are few vendors and they are not disturbing you and friendly. We stayed 25 days at Kikoi Boutique Resort and arranged all excursions on Zanzibar as well as a Safari with Sir Alex at Kikoi for reasonable prices and with good service . Their Cook Mister Mahaveer Sing is a real Master Chef and we enjoyed every meal he prepared us . Compliments to all the people working there. You made our stay unfogettable. Greetings Paula& Johannes from The Netherlands . We are looking forward to come back again .

    the welcoming commetee was amazing. They made us feel at home. Checking in was a breeze and the pool bar staff was so helpful and friendly. I loved the music by the pool area,it was inclusive to all nations. Tha food was amazing the whole experience was great. I was there to celebrate my birthday and they made it extra special. From the decoration in my room,to the suprise cake and singing.i had a good time. The rock resturant is less than 5min away, we wemt there using the free bicycle offered at the hotel.

    Enjoyed having lunch at the Rock and also liked the lunch at Kea restaurant.It is simple getting around Michamvi and don't even have to ask your way around.We enjoyed snorkling and going to the star fish spot

    This is the perfect hotel for anyone looking for a quiet beach get away. The staff was amazing, the location is beautiful, right on the beach! The rooms are very spacious with great views, accurate to the pictures on there website. The food is good, the pool is great and they have a very affordable spa. The beach in front is a beautiful white sand beach with a insane view of the sunset! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Zanzibar!

    by walking distance you could reach Kae Funk, which is lovely place, with party, and amazing sunset view. Is right place for whom are interested for The Rock, by taxi it takes aprox. 25 min, the same to Paje beach. Michamwi is calm and full of nature. Unfortunately the ocean is full of seeweeds and is not pleasant to swim here.

    It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful...

    It has some really nice beaches in the area and wonderful blue ocean as far as the eye can see. It's also quiet and very tranquil. We enjoyed a nice long walk on the beach with little to no interruptions from beach boys of sellers.

    We travel frequently and have visited some amazing beaches, however The View of Zanzibar tops the list for spectacular scenery. It is situated on the very best part of the beach, such that the fabulous Rock, and excellant Rock Restaurant, can be viewed from the large balcony. The apartment has a large living space, well equipped kitchen and separate bedroom. There was plenty of space for us to do yoga either inside or out on the balcony. We booked 2 nights but ended up staying for 6 :)

    Great food in the restaurant, very nice staff who helped us with everything. We obtained upgrade of the rooms, big apartments with own pool at the terrace, we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfasts were also really tasty and we enjoyed all kinds of milkshakes and smoothies lying near the beach and enjoying sun. The surrounding is very calm, it is not a touristy place, small willage nearby, Thank you Kikoi 😊 we recommend to everyone coming to Zanzibar.

    We got to the property after it being closed for the whole month for maintenance. We were literally the firsts customers there and had the whole place to ourselves. The hut, the service, the staff everything was 10/10 loved our stay felt so welcomed and the views were unreal! We went as a family of 4 including my 3 year old and a 1 year old. They had the best time and couldn’t recommend this place enough! Love it!! The best place to stay in Zanzibar
