Nice, quaint seaside town. Completely walkable with lots of shops to go through and restaurants and bars to enjoy! Lots of good history to explore! Worth at least a nice long weekend to fully enjoy! There's plenty outside of Annapolis to see and do!

We will definitely be returning to Annapolis!
We will definitely be returning to Annapolis! We came primarily for the Osteria 177 dining experience and it did not disappoint! Phenomenal dining atmosphere, service, and food. We walked around main street, saw the historic houses, and went in to a few of the shops. One of the things we did NOT get to experience was the John Paul Jones crypt, but that will be a focal point in the future. Very easy drive, safe colorful town with lots of history, art, and culture. Great place to visit any time of year!

I'm not sure how the city managed it(zoning like crazy), but they've been able to maintain the center of the old part of the city such that all buildings are the original historical brick buildings built in the 1700 and 1800's.
Everything is kept clean and nice. A plethora of restaurants, pubs, and bars. More than enough options for food and drink.
The Naval Academy is just to the North East, and you should plan on spending at least one day there for the museum, and another day for exploring the Academy grounds.
The Inn we stayed at only had valet parking, but everything we cared to explore was easily within walking distance, so no need for a car anyways.
If I had the chance, we would go there again. With only two days, we certainly didn't have enough time for sufficient exploration. Plan on 4-5 days, at least.

I attended the Annapolis Sailboat Show.
I attended the Annapolis Sailboat Show. The show itself can eat up the entire time it is on for, as it is such a large show. I found that I didn't get to see much of Annapolis. It is also so close to Baltimore and DC that i could have spent an entire week there over and above what i stayed.

Sad that Chick and Ruth's Diner has dropped the Morning pledge.
always a big draw for us. Just too bad that this great tradition was dropped. Signs of the times I guess. Will look for other options in the future.
Fleet Reserve is a must. That place goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.
Make sure to spend a day at the Navel Academy. Pride in America is found at this campus.

If I saw correctly...in my rating you tallied a 4.0 rating...NOT correct! More like a 2.0.
Overall a greet experience and exceeded our expectations! The hotel has a great theme, the room (superior king) was spaceous, stylish and clean. Clearly the hotel has been renovated in the past year or so, as everything felt new.
Although we didn't visit, the hotel lounge bar seemed nice and had plenty of food and and drinks to choose from. In addition there were many types of board games to enjoy with friends.
This is an outstanding hotel / Inn to spend the holidays. We loved it so much. Not only does the house provide beautiful rooms, very clean bathrooms and an outstanding dining room for breakfast, it is also run by such a special family that you feel home there. We enjoyed a luxury breakfast together with all the assistance one can offer. Anytime we come back to Annapolis, we would for sure stay there again.
We felt welcome and appreciated the bedroom choice close to both the pool and breakfast area. Which was perfect with 2 young kids. Cookies offered were delicious.
