This is a great hotel! Perfect location if visiting downtown Boulder, especially the University. Rooms were well appointed. Breakfast was fabulous. Really enjoyed their social hour with wine and snacks every evening. HIghly recommend, we will be staying at this hotel again!
Great place to visit...location is great for area, price is inflated for a Hilton and for location! This hotel is squeezed between another hotel and a strip plaza. Stay closer to Pearl St for better food and better location. The a/c unit in this place is very noisy. I found this to be an average hotel for the prce and skipped out on the burgers and nachos on the menu, surrounding area has much better food with cheaper prices. Also there is a charge to park a car there that most hotels don't have.
We came into town for a football game. CU has the most hostile and aggressive fans that we have ever encountered. We travel to a lot of college games and were warned by a number of friends and locals about this beforehand but were definitely not prepared for the vicious and obnoxious behavior exhibited by students and adults. It took away from the experience at this fabulous stadium. Lots of restaurants and hiking trails but definitely not the friendliest city that we have every visited, though Flatiron coffee shop is amazing.
Boulder is the perfect destination for an outdoor visit. Hiking everywhere, bike trails everywhere! Pearl Street offers shopping and food. There was even a mile run downtown when we visited! Try Audrey's Pizza Garage and Sweet Cow for ice cream. If you hike, use the fee park and ride shuttle bc trailhead parking is tough.
A super friendly town. I stayed in North Boulder which is far less frenetic than downtown. Great meals everywhere I went and plenty of fun bars. Downtown was a safe place to stroll at night and with plenty of revelers. Bring a bike and a backpack and you won’t be sorry.
Just a 45-minute drive from the Hotel Boulderado is Estes Park, the gateway to Colorado's Rocky Mountain National Park, a must visit. We were lucky to have visited on a bright sunny day after a spring dusting of snow, the mountain tops were a spectacular sight. We enjoyed several hikes and had the opportunity to photograph a great deal of wildlife (Juvenile Moose, Bighorn Sheep, Elk, Deer, Yellow bellied marmot, and a Hawk atop a tree branch eating a fish!) We could have easily returned to the park for more exploring and hiking, but it was our last day in Colorado. Next time we'll plan on multiple days in the park the Colorado Rockies are beautiful! Heads-up. . .Beginning May 28-Oct 10, 2022 you'll need to make on-line entry reservations to go into the park.
Boulder
the hotel was very convenient to the University of Colorado, shopping and many restaurants. The room was a decent size. Very clean. Super friendly staff and amazing shower. There was always complimentary hot coffee, hot water and plenty of varieties of tea in the lobby. I will stay here whenever I’m in Boulder visiting my University student. Also only a block and 1/2 from the airport RTD stop. very convenient. we did not need to rent a car.
Boulder
Enjoying the sound of the river while having a coffee on the picnic bench and planning the day ahead is one of the nicest things about this place, on top of really friendly and helpful staff and a decent room. A couple of issues with checking-in, nothing to do with A-lodge, but they were super helpful. Something tells me this place is really popping when a good crowd is staying. Lovely walk to downtown along the river. Great beer options too.
Boulder
The staff was friendly and the motel gives a cute "cabin in the woods" vibe, which was great for the location. The price is also great compared to other hotels around the area. I found the breakfast tasty and I was happy with the variety of options (eggs, bagels+spreads, milk+cereal, fruit). Finally, Boulder is nice! A small but lively town, famous and recommended for its hiking/climbing trails.
Walking distance to downtown . Staff very welcoming . Hot tub . Free s’mores . Nighttime seating area with fire . Rooms comfy . Lots of good options nearby too. You could hang out here all day which is not something I think most hotel rooms offer . Second time here so that should tell. Will be back .
Room is very spacious -- has a full kitchen which could be value for others. Forgot the 2nd fl rooms are walk-up -- could use better signage which stairs to use. Breakfast was exceptional. Prices still were high but in line with other hotels in Boulder.
Bed and shower were great. The room had lots of amenities that I had no opportunity to use :) I will probably return when I make longer stays in the Boulder area, as the kitchenette really helps to make life easier.
We had two different stays and were upgraded to a room with a balcony with a mountain view. The room and bathroom were both good sized and the bed was comfortable. Best hair dryer ever.
The staff was just wonderful. Welcoming, helpful, cheerful…. The hotel itself is very comfortable and the breakfast and common areas especially nice. The breakfast was just right.
Room was really nice and spacious. The hotel itself was lovely with some great features. Perfect location for exploring Boulder.
immaculate rooms and common spaces. cozy lobby area and perfect location so close to the university and downtown Boulder.
Awesome. My brother was mocking hotel buffet breakfasts until he started eating!
