Guests at this pet-friendly Georgia resort can enjoy the on-site golf course, 5 restaurants, and marina on the shores of Lake Lanier throughout their stay. My room had a balcony and the view was gorgeous. I love the restaurants on site, making it possible to relax and stay all the time at the hotel. The staff was great!!! John from Bullfrog bar was the best! Unfortunately we can't say the same about the hostess, who was rude.

All fees that the hotel require should be disclosed online and in all their information. Staff, while the client, is there, should finish with him or her with all the necessities of check-in. The client or customer should asked for their credit card only once at check-in. If the hotel guest chooses to use it again, then it is they that should enact the action and the use of the card the second or third time.
The Lake House we stayed in was old and in need of serious renovations and upgraded appliances. Front room furniture was awful, but the beds were comfortable. The back porch needed to be cleaned and sprayed for bugs and ants, we couldn't sit and enjoy the outside at all. Would not recommend staying in the Lake Houses, not sure about the main lodge. We didn't eat on the property during our stay. Lake Lanier is a beautiful place, but the accommodations leave a lot to be desired.
I loved that Ms. Gayla, Ms.Sonja and can't remember the other Front desk agents Name was but they went above and beyond to accommodate my Parents stay. I booked a room for my parents Wedding Anniversary and they allowed me to decorate the room and even through in a wedding anniversary card for them as well. My parents are extreme critics when it comes to food and vacation plans. They were blown away and enjoy the Breakfast. They can't wait to come back. Thanks so much Lanier Lodge for Takin care of my Parents!!!!! Only negtative thing I have to say is that there were a lot of spider webs and a weird smell. But the Front desk sent housekeeping to spray a lemony scent which took the smell away. Not sure if the housekeeping came back to remove the spider webs. But all was well!
We enjoyed the Lake Lanier area with family. We have considered returning to the area every summer because it was so much fun. I am a Floridian, but I really loved the activities and atmosphere of Lake Lanier and the Buford area.
Beautiful countryside with lots of trees and waterfront. Generally big enough to have things to do in the area, but not overly crowded. Be sure to check out Loretta's country kitchen and the Lakewood 400 antique show if your in the area when it's running. Both are worth the drive from Buford.
The first time there. Plenty of wonderful restaurants including La Madeleine, a French themed restaurant with a wonderful breakfast. The Mall of Georgia was right across from the hotel. It was not difficult to travel to our destinations in Buford. The only negative would be the required route took us through Atlanta.😩
Lanier Island, Buford
I loved the clean lake, the resort feel, the beautiful golf courses, wildlife, security, and waterpark, and beach. I like the multiple options for lodging. We also enjoy the breakfast bar. Love the gift shops. I can’t wait to go back to the winter one! Check in ladies (at our particular check in) and a gentleman that took our drink orders at the hotel pool bar/ walk up we’re exceptionally nice and helpful.
The cleanness of the room and accomidations was very clean. The only issue I had was the construction going on at and near the Hotel. Overall we were very pleased and the services provided were pleasing as well.
I loved the room also loved that it was a petfriendy hotel those are hard to find. The lady that checked me in offer a bag of treats for my puppy and he loved them he is a picky eater
The hotel was very hospitable and the room was spacious and comfortable.
Didn't eat breakfast at hotel. Expensive.
The hotel is fine, I like it
