Featuring an indoor pool, hot tub and a fitness center, this Cascade Locks hotel is in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. A free hot breakfast and free Wi-Fi access are included. Everyone is exceptionally helpful and always pleasant. This is the 5th visit in the past year due to helping my mother who has cancer. They go out of their way to speak to us every day and make us feel like it is home. Thank you so much!
The Columbia Gorge Inn is located in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The motel is just 45 miles east of Portland, Oregon. Location is directly at the Columbia River and close to mount hood and multnomah falls. The room was very clean and spacious and the decoration very nice. Beds very comfortable. Microwave, coffee machine etc all present due to power outage we could not use them, we got candles and enjoyed the cloudless nightsky
Nestled on 175 acres, overlooking the Columbia River and located in the Gorge National Scenic Area, this hotel and spa combines a rustic atmosphere with today's modern amenities and facilities. So many hikes to do near Skamania. Did the Spirit fall, and river drifting on White Salmon River. Needed more time to do more activities. The lodge is so perfect if you’re looking tranquillity and relaxation for your trip.
The most beautiful and convenient place to stay if you are visiting the. Olympia River Gorge. Great scenery, great restaurants in town and along the river and great things to see and do in Cascade Locks!
It's so beautiful there, close to Multnomah Falls and Crown Point! The Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery was very interesting! Great getaway location! The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good! Our stay included breakfast there, and it was very good! ( best hamburger we've had in a while!). Bayside Restaurant (formerly The Charburger).
We stayed one night on a busy weekend. Check-in was fast. We were in an upper floor as requested. Room was spacious and the bed was great. The restaurant was next door with good food and friendly service. Beautiful scenery. Convenient for our purposes. We hiked in the Mark Hatfield trail and dined at Multnomah Falls Lodge. A beautiful day in the Gorge.
Gorgeous views of the river. Room was immaculate, very comfortable bed and furniture. The was staff extremely friendly and accommodating. If looking for a place to relax and enjoy the views this is a perfect place, with lots of hiking, fishing, boating, incredible scenic sights and history. Restaurant and gift shop next door.
I love this side of the Columbia river. They have a great public park and hiking trails are close by. This little town has everything you need for a short or long stay. With fine dining just across the bridge of the Gods at several restaurants in Stevenson as well as great boutique shopping there and in Cascade Locks there is something for those who aren't drawn to the superb hiking readily accessible on both sides of the river. And fishing in season is great. We always get ice cream at the little drive in as it is available with flavored stripes...yumm! Dinner is usually at the Big River Grill in Stevenson as the restaurants are just average in Cascade Locks. But this is still the best place to stay for a very reasonable fee. There is even paid camping available in town and all come with spectacular views which in my humble opinion are best from this south side of the Columbia.
We enjoyed our room looking over the Columbia River, a nice hot shower and the jetted tub. We slept on a bed like we were floating on a cloud and took a walk along the water front and into the park. We saw the stern wheeler boat and decided to have my birthday dinner while we cruised on the Columbia. The food was great, also the service and the trip to the Bonneville Dam. The Skipper told us many stories about the area and let us visit him as he operated his water craft. Our food was excellent and we enjoyed walking on the decks and looking at the moon and the stars. This and the many water falls made this vacation / birthday celebration one that I will remember for many years to come. Everyone made my 67 birthday excellent, one that I will fondly remember for the rest of my life. James Burdon
