Featuring an indoor pool, hot tub and a fitness center, this Cascade Locks hotel is in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. A free hot breakfast and free Wi-Fi access are included. Everyone is exceptionally helpful and always pleasant. This is the 5th visit in the past year due to helping my mother who has cancer. They go out of their way to speak to us every day and make us feel like it is home. Thank you so much!
The Columbia Gorge Inn is located in the spectacular Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. The motel is just 45 miles east of Portland, Oregon. The people in charge were wonderful, so helpful with ideas of things to visit & simply so very friendly. And we had a room upgrade. The manager really cares about his customers. The room was very clean and comfortable with plenty of space.
Nestled on 175 acres, overlooking the Columbia River and located in the Gorge National Scenic Area, this hotel and spa combines a rustic atmosphere with today's modern amenities and facilities. So many hikes to do near Skamania. Did the Spirit fall, and river drifting on White Salmon River. Needed more time to do more activities. The lodge is so perfect if you’re looking tranquillity and relaxation for your trip.
The price was right for a place to just have a place to sleep. It advertised as River view and there technically was but the River view was just a little tiny piece of blue through the trees. We only needed a place to sleep on the way somewhere else so it was acceptable for the price. I would not call it a destinations location to stay but friendly people and clean facilities
I would liked either a call or email letting us know the the town was shutting off power. All the restaurants closed at 7 pm and the power went off at 10pm and came back on at 8 when it was supposed to come on at 6. Our hotel room was to hot and no screen on the window, which I found out was unlocked during our stay.
We were there to go to dinner on the sternwheeler for our Anniversary. We just live in Portland so we know the Gorge area from driving, but getting to see it from the River with a knowledgeable guide was wonderful.
Some great hiking trails and friendly people everywhere. Conveniently located to hike several trails. Beware of some of the motels and a restaurant in town. Motel was lower quality than expected and no breakfast or lobby. Local restaurant/bar near the motel was good food but rough crowed. I won’t go there again.
The most beautiful and convenient place to stay if you are visiting the. Olympia River Gorge. Great scenery, great restaurants in town and along the river and great things to see and do in Cascade Locks!
It's so beautiful there, close to Multnomah Falls and Crown Point! The Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery was very interesting! Great getaway location! The restaurant attached to the hotel was very good! Our stay included breakfast there, and it was very good! ( best hamburger we've had in a while!). Bayside Restaurant (formerly The Charburger).
