The town of Dennis Port has a very 'local' feel.
The town of Dennis Port has a very 'local' feel. As long as you like assimilating into a town to get a real feel for their life it is a great town to visit. Beautiful public beaches very easy to walk and shop. A little tough on the parking. And [very] narrow streets, lots of stop signs sometimes not enough stop signs. It is not a town for a lively night life. It is more of a 'family' town. You want a lively night life go/stay in Provincetown that place has theaters with many local artists ranging from song and dance to magic. Many art shops... BUT do, do your homework, know where you are going. It is one of the 'happiest' places in all of New England (even more than Vermont). Personal I really liked the vibe of Provincetown; but I also really like staying several quite nights in Dennis Port.

A quaint town with lots to offer!
A quaint town with lots to offer! There were plenty of great coffee shops, places to eat, and places to shop! The Wee Packet and Sundae School are a must!! Cuffy's is the perfect stop for all of your gift and souvenir needs! But most of all you cannot beat those beaches!!

You have the beautiful Swan or Bass River, great biking trail and lots of gorgeous beaches in this friendly town- will be back- Original Seafood has delish fried seafood and Royal Pizza quite tasty for delivery

We love going to Dennis Port.
We love going to Dennis Port. We love the low key vibe of the area. The beaches are small, but you can quickly drive to West Dennis beach which is big. Lots of great small restaurants in the area: Wolfie's for breakfast, Bandera Deli and Hot Dog place for lunch, and several dinner options like KO Pizza or The Den. Great drinks with a beautiful view and often live music at the Ocean House Beach Bar, early morning yoga on the lawn at the Pelham house, cute downtown.

Dennis Port seemed nice.
Dennis Port seemed nice. I was in Dennis Port to visit friends and relatives but I would not ever recommend Jonathan Edwards Motel which I cancelled after just 1 night stay on a 3 night reservation, motel management refuses to refund me the 2 nights I did not stay.. Accommodations were totally unacceptable!

Lovely town. Plenty of restaurants and shops of all kinds. Beautiful beaches. Very peaceful and pretty area. Can't beat Kreme and Kone's food but a bit pricey. Their clams, scallops, fish sandwiches, chowder and onion rings were terrific. Loved going to the Hearth and Kettle even though it was a bit of a ride for a fantasticbreakfast.. Beautiful church, The Holy Trinity and beautiful adoration chapel nearby.

Location on the beach is fantastic.
We were given a room with an ocean view which was most appreciated and such a great view.
With the extra space, jacuzzi and kitchenette we thoroughly enjoyed this typical New England site.
