United StatesLocation was not too far from downtown Floyd and only 2 miles from Chateau Morrisette, an incredible winery and restaurant. The beds were very comfortable, great breakfast and very quiet. Fantastic mountain view and wrap around porch to enjoy. Walking nearby was fun. Jenny and her husband were very hospitable and friendly. Very nice touches and decor!!

United StatesSaying this cabin is nice is an understatement. The beds are more comfortable than m.ine at home. In fact , all the furniture was comfortable. The cabin was very clean and well mantained Things you might have forgotten to bring are provided .Checking in and checking out was a breeze. The host is so nice , easy to get a hold of and answer texts quickly.. I have stayed at 2 other places in the area and they were nice but this one is my choice from now on. I hope to be able to stay here again next year.

Floyd is a very rural small town (with only one traffic signal) so depending on what day it is alot of the stores, restaurants, etc might either close early or be completely closed on certain days especially on holidays. However there is enough interesting attractions in the area such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Floyd General Store, and the Chateau Morrisette winery to make visiting here worthwhile.Guest review byKyle - 10.0

A great little town with many shops, just do not look for fancy/expensive stuff. There is a nice antique store (Finders Keepers), lots of musical offerings (mainly on weekends), but not a lot of restaurants. A small town with friendly people at the stores I shopped at. There was one store that did not have friendly service. Not sure if Floyd is considered a tourist place, but prices are a bit high. The Red Rooster coffee shop was high priced. Restaurants have good food.Guest review byDebraUnited States
