Fort Stockton has a few tourist attractions, including the old Fort Stockton. However, for our visit, it was a good jumping off point to go to Alpine, Texas and the Big Bend National Park. If you enjoy history, you will enjoy Fort Stockton. We stayed there for one night but arrived in town early. We drove around to see the historic sites and were not disappointed.
