The very clean rooms, more than helpful staff and dining access on the property were the most important to my group of three. In addition, the attached balcony was perfect for an evening spent winding down from the trip. The meals we had were cooked exactly as asked and were very good as well. Charming town with plenty of shopping, history, a few places to eat. I would drive around before settling on a place to eat. Highly recommended fishing guide company , Echo. Bryant, who is very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and other parts of the state, seems to be a great resource for exploring and enjoying the region. Cute town with everything you need for a visit to Yosemite National Park. We enjoyed eating at the Top of the Trail Coffee (great breakfast sandwiches), Iron Door Tavern and Two Guys Pizza Pies. Plenty of good trails around if you drive 30-40 mins. On the resort trails are very limited. Stay away from food at the PML golf club , very poor and overpriced. We did Carlon falls which takes you into Yosemite and you can swim when you reach the falls — allow 3 hours round trip including a good stop at the falls.
