We loved the fact that it was right next door to Sam’s Chowder House and we could walk to it for dinner as that place is always busy and parking is hard to get. Also, we could stroll down to the beach area and enjoy the scenery, as well as from our room.

The breakfast was delicious and we loved that it was delivered to our room at a time of our choosing, especially since we prefer to sleep in. The view was beautiful, and no sounds could be heard except for the crashing waves. The fireplace provided heat and really added to the cozy vibes. The evening wine and appetizer reception was a unique and wonderful touch. It was convenient to walk to local restaurants and downtown Half Moon Bay was only a 10 minute drive away. We enjoyed lounging in the robes and slippers that were provided in our rooms.

Staying here felt like stepping back in time in the great way. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and we loved that wine, coffee, tea, and even homemade cookies were available anytime. With only six rooms in the inn, our family took up four, so it almost felt like the place was ours. The staff gave us plenty of privacy, and we had a great time hanging out together in the parlor at night. A really cozy and memorable stay!
