The hotel was beautiful, but thefacility was poorly managed and the staff was substandard. For a hotel of this caliber, I would except the staff to be spot on. Unfortunately we had multiple encounters, from the cafe staff being unfriendly, to the gym staff being rude, to there not being enough staff at the the restaurant and having to make people wait for a table despite there being multiple tables available, to the unprofessional staff at the poolside restaurant —-it was disappointing. We were also unnerved by a very loud alarm and audible message coming into our room on 2 out of the 4 nights of our stay only to have them say it was a false alarm. The food is mediocre and very pricey. There are two main restaurants on the property. The more high end restaurant is a sushi restaurant, but there were just a few items on the menu and nothing we ordered was worth eating. We went to the Neighbors cafe for breakfast on two occasions and both times they were out of multiple items on the menu. I was expecting a much different experience at this hotel and unfortunately I would not come back.

Gorgeous home made with your comfort in mind! The entire unit is beautiful with modern furnishings, decor & appliances. The host thought of everything you might need including golf clubs, beach gear, sippy cups & bibs for little ones (I've never seen that before). Dan is a great host & he provided information about the area, local restaurants, places to visit, etc. We plan to stay there again when we return someday!!
Nestled on a cliff on the north shore of the Hawaiian island of Kaua'i, this resort in Princeville offers spacious villas with all the comforts of home as well as luxurious facilities.
The beach is calm and can be shared by many. The restaurants are fantastic. The farmers markets were the best part. Despite the rainy days at the time of year, we were able to get in outdoor activities daily although you might have your hike in the rain or you beach day shortened. Get your pass early to visit the Na pal I park. Eat at Bar a Cuda and Kauai Uno(reservations a must)

Beautiful, peaceful location. The condos are well appointed.
Beautiful, peaceful location. The condos are well appointed. Some are remodeled, others not. The pool is in repair due to last years flood. The restaurant is ok, but the bar had a locals open mic night that was great. I feel it is a little overpriced for the repair condition that is currently in progress. The condos are called two bedroom although the smaller bedroom only has a single bed and in our case only one bath. Some have a 1/2 bath in the small single room. They offer shuttle service which is a great option, although you do need a car to get to the resort.

I loved that this is not your typical "resort". It is a refuge to exhale, relax, read a book, enjoy quality time with your family and friends, soak up the sun (and rain) on an unpopulated beach. It has a beautiful pool area, but I couldn't drag myself away from the Pacific Ocean and beach. The accommodations are perfectly in sync with the location. They have a relaxed, Hawaiian vibe, comfortable, and spacious, with a large lanai that took in the mountain and beach views.
The location was amazing, authentic, rustic & true to the surrounding area of Hanalei!
The team were amazing especially Chawake! She’s made a lasting impression on us. (so thank you)
The beach area was very secluded and private. It felt like our own private paradise.
The newly renovated pool area was amazing also. We had two BBQ’s whilst there & felt so relaxed.
Really a nice resort I ever stayed. The room is spacious and relaxing. Ocean view from the balcony and window. The location is pretty good in Haena, easy access to kalalau trail, tunnels beach, lumahai beach...free shuttle can take you to Hanalei area. Will stay here again next time.
Big room with two bathrooms. Friendly staff, direct beach access where you can’t swim but can go for nice beach walks. Only a 10 minute drive from Hanalei which has great restaurant options and little shops. Many beaches and within a few minutes drive!
Wonderful location - within easy walking distance of both Hanelei village and Hanalei Bay.
Comfortable bed & very good facilities. Outdoor hot shower was an added bonus!
Highly recommended.
