I loved how everything is so close by and easy to access it’s a perfect vacation destination. The mall great for teens and adults parks are great for kids the ferries are great for everyone and the beaches were beautiful
Busy town in the mid cape, it doesn’t have much in the way of sightseeing but is in a great location to visit the rest of the cape. There are plenty of amenities and good restaurants within an easy walk. I’d recommend visiting Cape Cod Brewery as well as trying the Black Cat Tavern and Tap City Grill.
Hyannis has plenty of places to choose from to eat, places to visit like the Kennedy museum the beautiful harbor and much more. Easy to drive to other quaint Cape towns like Woods Hole to Provincetown. Enjoy
Easy to get to other towns. We had a car so traveled all over. I don’t know about public transport as in buses. Lovely harbour, shops are quaint. Take the ferry across to Martha’s Vineyard for a good day out. Nice restaurants, good food where ever we ate, we didn’t have a bad meal there, mostly ate fish which was delicious. We traveled from the UK, driving up from Boston, it was wet and chilly. The beaches in the summer would be glorious, all golden sand.
Hyannis is a port town and a great central location for exploring Cape Cod. The town has all sorts of services and restaurants, everything you need. Train and bus service is available to/from Boston. The ferry to Nantucket is an easy walk from several motels and there is also a free shuttle bus to the ferry from a parking lot. Beaches are nearby, with lots of beautiful scenery.
“Horrible horrible hotel.... No water in one room and glass in jacuzzi and on floor of another ”
“The hotel is located across the street from the harbor, with the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard right there. The room was large and very clean. We'll be back again. ”
“Beautiful, just as I remembered cape cod as a boy. The beach is literally across the street and Hyannis is within walking distance. Raisa(owner) is the warmest, sweetest lady who makes you feel at home. I didn't want to leave. Exactly what we wanted and more than we expected. ”
“Great location in relation to Main Street and historic downtown Hyannis as well as the harbor. Clean and spacious rooms.”
“The location was unmatched. If you like the view of ships on the water this is your place. Right next to the ferries and a short walk from Hyannis Center”
“Bed was very nice, room very clean.”
“Loved the room with the extra bedroom suite located in the Nauset Cottage Building on site.”
