Everything takes longer to get to than anticipated due to traffic lights and slow drivers. Apparently - Thursday nights in Palm Springs has a big carnival and streets are shut down. Parking is impossible. Avoid the area unless you are walking in. Avoid the Nest - very expensive for diner-type food. They cater to those drinking in the bar more than restaurant. We were asked to move tables mid-meal to accommodate a party of 8 from bar. LG Steakhouse is a must! Great service and food!

    Lovely area.

Lovely area. We were there following the National Football Champiinship in LA, drove down to watch a collegiate round robin tennis tournament. The Tennis facility is ++ and The Sands was so convenient to it. Go Dawgs!

Indian Wells is a very small. but very wealthy bedroom community, sandwiched between Palm Desert and La quinta. The biggest attraction is the Tennis Gardens that host a national major tennis tournament every spring.

Hotel management and security needs to be educated better. Put guests at risk Absolutely so dissatisfied, with the hotel managers handled this situation and our rooms should of been pro rated or refunded.

This was the worst pale the room was closed the exit and the st and I asked for a quiet room, did they not understand what a quiet room is, it was downstairs also. I never stayed downstairs because the people upstairs are loud, they said they did not have any more rooms, that's not true I was there and they were two people checking in, wont stay here ever!!

Previously, the hotel showed signs of aging and unaddressed deferred repairs and maintenance. During the past three years a significant upgrade had been made, at least on our floor. In short, the facility is up to snuff. As to the entertainers. We heard one at some length and a bit of another. Both are terrific. The best news in that area was the featured entertainer there pre COVID-19 was no longer there. Although a good entertainer, he hadn't a clue when it came to the use of the microphone. He had one setting: make it as loud as I can. Very annoying. So we will definitely stay there again, although it may not be through Booking.com unless they fix my apparent error when booking the reservation. Simple fix caught my hotel staff and now resulted in several days without a resolution.

Crappy, , only two Keri podafor a3 night stayfortwo people: so ridiculous all the apps that need to be downloaded. The booking was through booking.com. Then I received messages from turn Key and red awning. So basically, three emails/apps. Very very confusing. I would not recommend this at all. I feel insulted that I paid so much for this. I have been to this area multiple times for the Indian Wells tennis and this is the worst value I’ve ever had. I will definitely use the facilities I had on prior visits.

Was very surprised when we arrived at this quant, nestalgic hotel for a one night stay. It was close to venue we were attending that night so that is reason I chose it! Pool & hot tub were great! Good excellent, breakfast was awesome & room was adequate for our stay. Loved how it still was a bit old style with furniture, pictures & music! Live music was a bonus during our supper at Happy hour--ambiance was so nice. I have told several travellers at our resort they need To check it out!

With the exception of its location, my experience has been subpar. I paid $500 per night for a room that overlooked a construction site, featured an overcrowded pool, and offered just one hot tub. The quality of the food is unsatisfactory, and the sole redeeming aspect appears to be the presence of Starbucks. I would rate this establishment as a 1-star hotel, and I must admit that I feel I may have overpaid given that the quality does not align with the price point.

Well I found out when I got there, they gave me a acceptation?? Cause they don’t let local residents like me to stay there anymore?? I was having my daughter coming in for a visit, sooo I thought let’s stay at this hotel... I will never ever go there again plus they took out 400.00 dollars from me!! When I only needed to pay 300.00??? Who does that ? I’ve lived here in palm Desert for years and this is how they treat locals? Screw them never again!!!!!

This is a well appointed hotel with a lovely pool and gardens, very picturesque. The staff are very attentive with pool side service and a nice restuarent attached which served very good food and cocktails. There is also a hot spa pool best for the cooler evenings. Free parking was a bonus. Lovely, quiet and relaxing. We will be back.

It's Iconic Palm Desert. Intimate, not one of those huge, sprawling "big box" hotels. Lots of details went into the room. A full top-shelf bar armoire with all the accessories needed! You can tell Kelly Wearstler, put her design touch into the room. Love the Waterworks fixtures!

The hotel is nice, the staff was very nice and welcoming. The check in process was very fast and was even able to check in earlier than expected. The pool area is amazing, the movie in the pool area was great and relaxing. The staff at the pool was very friendly and attending.

Love the historical tribute to Lucy & Desi that envelopes the hotel. It’s such a pleasure to walk the beautiful & lush grounds & the views are gorgeous. Breakfast was included (continental style), it was sparse but filling . Love the entertainment in the lobby seating area.

Very nice and super comfy room. Pool was great but didn’t get why they reserve a bunch of seats for VIP - nobody ever occupied them. Great gym! Overall a very nice stay, though overall the hotel is quite expensive. Staff is really nice and attentive.

It was an older clean hotel resort. The biggest reason for picking this facility was the location for the concert that I was attending.
