As usual pretty clean and well maintained and lobby has a new make over since our last visit looks really nice with tons of seating area great idea Staff were beyond great and helpful and understanding Only minor comment was catch of the day at dinner mixup being salmon when salmon doesn’t swim that far south We will back love this hotel and proximity to the beach for long walks The pizza we had pool side was made from scratch, crust was light and crispy like European style and delicious very pleasantly surprised

I’ve been visiting Jekyll for many years, since I was a child! It is my families favorite place to getaway!! Friendly atmosphere, laid back vibes and casual living! So many unique finds and locations around the island! Fresh seafood at all the restaurants, our favorite is Zachary’s!! We are history buffs and Jekyll is full of the most interesting history!! The beaches are never crowded, great for families like mine with children! HIGHLY recommend a visit here!!

We have visited Jekyll Island for many years.

We have visited Jekyll Island for many years. As a child we camped in the campground (great experience for families, especially the kids). We stayed in a number of the vacation rentals too. We loved wherever we were! We have so many wonderful memories made at Jekyll as kids and even with our children as they grew up. Fishing and crabbing at the pier were a highlight for my children, as well as riding the back road around the camp ground looking at the deer feasting on the lawns. 🤣 The deer were everywhere at dark. Riding the horse trails along the beach was also a highlight for my children. Summer Waves is a fun place for the entire family to enjoy. This visit was short but we did take the time to make reservations to eat at Willets LowCountry which was phenomenal. So much has changed throughout the years. We still love it and will definitely be returning, to what feels like home, real soon.

Loved the short walk to beach.

Loved the short walk to beach. Island was peaceful and beautiful with the water and forests. The turtle museum and hospital/rehab center was amazing. Restaurants and activities were plentiful for families and singles.

We were a family of 6.

We were a family of 6. Our rooms were on different floors and one was not ready upon arrival. The place is quite noisy. Although to food was good, it took too long to be served. It is obvious that the kitchen staff is lacking. The servers (Keshaun and Ronecia) were wonderful. We spoke to Kirk(?) in upper management, and he asked us to STOP BARKING when we complained about not receiving our meals after waiting 2 1/2 hrs. He definitely needs to brush up on his communication skills. He was rude and obnoxious.

Very pretty with all of the live oaks with the Spanish Moss...

Very pretty with all of the live oaks with the Spanish Moss hanging in them. Beaches were clean. Not a lot of people so nice, no crowds. Enjoyed the Turtle Center, Driftwood Beach, and the pier were nice to see the turtles, alligator, etc. and walk along the trails.

I would love to live there but need more on island...

I would love to live there but need more on island restaurants and things for the kids/adults to do. Like a karaoke bar and a play ground for the kids also a movie theater would be nice, indoor/outdoor bounce house.

The hotel is directly situated at a wonderful strech of beach. The rooms and bathrooms may be a bit outdatet, but are very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and we enjoyed a swim in the clear pool. Definitely worth a recommendation.

Absolutely amazing location just in front of the ocean with direct access to the beach. Very calm area- ideal place for relaxation and resting. Very clean and relatively small hotel which was an asset for us as well. Complimentary bikes. Good gym.
