Absolutely beautifully kept grounds with a long walkable beach with seaturtles. It was fun watching the windsurfers, and the place is quiet, but close to excellent restaurants. Traveling as a family, 5 adults, we appreciated the large family room, balcony, and easy parking. Picking up the keys was very smooth despite arriving after hours. AND the staff provided a personalized note, flowers, and welcome munchies for my mother on Mother's Day. This place exceeded our expectations.

We were super impressed with Michelle at the agents office where you pick up the keys. A pure positive energy felt from her!
The building seemed pretty busy but the elevators are fast, we don't like waiting for slow elevators so that was a plus.
We are truly fortunate and feel a bit of shame that we were having such a wonderful time while so many on the island suffer from their great loss while facing an uncertain future. Wishing nothing but the best for all the strong and resilient Mauians🙏🏼

We went for exploration: get yourself a small car - roads are narrow. A cool experience: be patient, relaxed, always strictly stay in your (unmarked) lane. And realise: it is you who is on holidays, not the locals. Smile.

We've been to Kihei many times so don't nosey around the town much but do enjoy the beach, pool, condo, and the weather. We like self service and buy and cook our own meals. I would avoid D.T. Fleming park as when the lower carpark is full; non-residents pay $30 for parking!!

Local flare was wonderful.
Local flare was wonderful. Nail salon downstairs was a bit sketchy though. Paid 55 dollars more than I asked for. But all other businesses around were fabulous and fair. Fun walking the local vendors and restaurants were lovely. Also food store 2 blocks away

Beautiful beaches, we have stayed in Kihei 12 times, we love the area. We usually bring our kids and grandkids with us, this was the second time with just the two of us. Great beaches for small kids and inexperienced adults. Great swimming beach.

Kihei has very nice vacation vibes.
Kihei has very nice vacation vibes. However Kihei is a place far from Maui airport. For food and groceries we had to go to Kahului. The drive was 20 minutes. We sacrificed time in favor of location and peaceful community.

I love Maui.
I love Maui. It is so full of lovely things to do: driving, snorkelling, boogy boarding, swimming, sunning, exploring, hiking, taking in hula dancers at Shops at Wailea. The weather is great, blue skies, nice and hot. The people are lovely.
Each town has it's own charms. Kula Lodge and Kula Gardens are fantastic.
You can even get a dog-on-demand from the humane society and give a shelter dog a trip to the beach.
Maui is the best!

This condo is in a central location in Kihei for travel to all locations in Maui. It is on the beach and has a beautiful view from the balcony. Restaurants and grocery shopping are close by too. The bed was just right and the kitchen was fully stocked with what you need for meals. The price was just right. We would recommend it for your stay.
Directly on the beach and a short walk to local shops / 5-10mins drive to the centre of Kihei. The building is a little bit dated but our unit had been tastefully refurbished and had everything we needed. The grounds are modest in size but tidy and well-kept. Staff were friendly and helpful with local suggestions.
The apartment is located in a beautiful location in Kihei. The view of the sea is fantastic. The kitchen is super equipped and there are many personal touches. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.
The close walk to the beach was amazing, and the beach is beautiful. The bed was super comfortable, I got some great nights sleep. I would definitely recommend Kihei Kai to anybody.
Amazing location. Bars and food trucks. The kihei cafe and food land. Good central location. The condo was amazingly decorated. It screamed Hawaii. Also, safe neighborhood.
