The desk staff was SUPER accommodating! We arrived late in the evening and they even made a pot of coffee for us because we expressed interest in having coffee. They were so polite and helpful!!! The towels were thick and nice too!!!

Everything was so compact and neat. I love the lobby area with the front desk area in a circle. The design offers a well stocked grocery area and at Lake City there was beer and wine for sale which we appreciated after a long days drive. The breakfast was delicious hot egg omelet and bacon and they change it up daily. Also offering pancakes and cereals and fruit.

I truly enjoyed our stay. The staff were amazing. The fantastic breakfast cook on Monday until Friday was incredible. She made you feel like you were family. I believe her name is Sonya. She deserves a raise!! She made our trip outstanding. She was so cheerful and loving. I will visit that hotel again because of her.

We had a great time in Lake City, we visited the Falling Waters park which was beautiful even during the drought with a couple of walking trails. We visited Alligator Lake park which had nice trails. We went to La Fiesta Tacos and Tequila, which was great!

Lake City is a nice place and have stopped in town for gas and food purchases over the years. This was first time we stayed overnight and therefore have not had the opportunity to take in the city's special features or events.

There's bugs.

There's bugs. The southern dinner/supper isn't southern at all. Their AI pictures will fool you. Moldy mildew smell. Husband was bitten within 5 minutes. Dead bugs, alive bugs, bbq sauce and fried chicken on the floor. Its like they tucked the covers and left the room (the cleaners). I cant believe I fell for the almost 4.2 star reviews on booking.com. Anyway, it's been over a week and no contact from the owner/manager. Go figure. Save your time and money. This place is a slum motel. Bed bugs were there and so were roaches.

This is a reasonable value if you are on a budget and don't mind a place that is a little below top tier but adequate for a brief stay. I was comfortable enough, the bed was good, the wifi worked well, the mini-fridge was pretty good. The tv was small but adequate. A reasonable value for the price charged.

We didn't venture farther than a radius of about 5 miles, but we were really impressed with the variety of culinary choices...we were enthused also by a large Dollar Tree (we had no time for the mall). :-) We did enjoy Zaxby's and Captain D's!!

The staff from check-in, breakfast the next morning and check-out the next morning was excellent. Made sure we had what we needed for our time there. I loved the fact that they had a no pet policy. I have allergeries and even though rooms ae suppose to be cleaned after pets stay I always seem to know they have been there. So this was a plus for me to stay at this motel.
