The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I stayed here for the Leadville ultra and this was great location for getting to the start line. The woman who check us in gave us restaurant recommendations. The breakfast was coffee, bread, cereal, oatmeal and muffins. They had breakfast available at 2:30am for the ultra.

Awesome experience. If your wanting a Ritz-Carlton look elsewhere. If you’re wanting a wonderful and comfortable place to stay at a GREAT price, this is it!! Every extra touch was provided. Refrigerator, French press coffee, and a “goodie” bag with everything from chapstick to lotion to earplugs to snacks.

This cabin was adorable. The beds were amazingly comfortable, we all slept great! So close to downtown which meant we didn't need to drive.

This lil cabin ruled !!! Full size kitchen and a large roomy bathroom with a cool lil bedroom too !!! I love this place !!! I think this is my 5th or 6th time staying there but first time getting into the lil cabin !!! Will be back 100% !!!

    Very nice town with loads of history. Great mountain views. I ran the Leadville Silver Rush 50 mile race and plan to do it again. Mineral 1886 has great breakfasts! I need to see more of this town when I visit again.

    It was my first time in Leadville and we loved it they have...

    It was my first time in Leadville and we loved it they have a plenty activities around the town and we was really lucky because it snowed all the time. We play pool on Pastime Bar and enjoyed!!! Snowmobile with White Mountain Tour was amazing experience. The Ski Cooper Resort was the best experience for my family.

    Highly recommend riding the scenic Leadville Railroad -...

    Highly recommend riding the scenic Leadville Railroad - especially since you can bring your dog along. Had a great pizza at High Mountain Pies and it has a great outdoor area that allows dogs. Also had a good dinner at the Tennessee Pass Cafe - which also has a large patio area that is dog friendly.

    We did not spend much time in the town Leadville because of...

    We did not spend much time in the town Leadville because of my mobility issues. We did enjoy our trip through Twin Lakes to Aspen. We attempted to see the Maroon Bells, but a reservation was needed, so we weren't able to go beyond the entrance. We were on a budget, so we were happy that Leadville had a Subway and Taco Bell. We also bought some food from Safeway.

    Leadville offers many basecamp options for exploring the backcountry. Options include camping, hostels, motels. Several excellent restaurants, and there is a Safeway. It is pricey, but you're paying for the location. It is convenient to many trailheads. And there is a bike trail that goes around the town. And if you're inclined, you can catch a train ride.

    Leadville is a beautiful small Colorado town with a variety of restaurants and wonderful surrounding hiking trails. Turquoise lake is a favorite place for fishing and hiking. The cool daily temperatures make it a summer destination to beat the heat.

    Nice central location, a hop from Leadville RR station (a boon - it is a tourist railroad with only a mid-day train each day, so NO regular trains or noise from that ... ), helpful friendly staff, cozy and roomy lounge, even with a fireplace, I think. Kitchen facilities for guests, even coffee always available. Wish I could've stayed longer. Comfy bed.
