    Love the city of Lincoln!

    Love the city of Lincoln! Coming here for years - nice to see all the changes each time. Great places to eat - the Gast Coffee Haus for coffee "and" I am so happy its flourishing. Lots of Lincoln "stuff" to see - attended banquets at the American Legion always a wonderful place - staff is excellent. Route 66 is well marked (3 alignments) and the Train Depot is a great use of space! Nice to see the changes at the Mill museum. Good bar food all around and a nice schedule of events year round! Never leave without goodies from the Russell Stove outlet store - great selection of sugarless and sugared candy. The ice cream choices were huge! Sent pix to my friends who travel 66 for them to see!

    I love Lincoln . And am planning on moving there.

    I love Lincoln . And am planning on moving there. The people are so nice there. Beautiful places and area. I hated to leave. But I will not stay at Super 8 there .It was gross . Everything else was wonderful.

    The hotel/motel was the worst part of our trip.

    The hotel/motel was the worst part of our trip. We didn't stay there because it was nothing like the pictures they have on their website. Tried to get a refund after they put us in a second room but they didn't give it to us. We turned our keys in and wouldn't recommend this hotel/motel to anyone.

    You could tell that they have been challenged by the...

    You could tell that they have been challenged by the pandemic and the property could have been in better shape. The price reflected the conditions so it made the stay a good value. Rooms were clean and we had what we needed.

    The Bookings.com rating is completely wrong on this Motel!

    The Bookings.com rating is completely wrong on this Motel! They show a 4 star motel. It has changed Ownership and is no longer maintained or cleaned properly. Elevator not working, reviews from other guests show sheets not changed between guests, breakfast not available.

    Filthy. Spa has been closed for 2 years but doesn't tell you that. Fire detector removed from room. I have pictures that I definitely will be sharing and warning others to never stay here. It was too late to cancel so we are stuck with it. Thank God it's only one night. Will never stay here again or recommend this hotel. Bugs on the ceiling. Walls and ceiling have major cracks. Toilet was so nasty I had to buy cleaning supplies and gloves so we could use it. No lock on ground floor window.

    It was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. However, we tried to return and the Jackass behind the desk tried telling us that "Super 8 doesn't not accept locals". I was there 3 days ago and a couple weeks ago. He was rude, disrespectful and discriminating. Worse hotel host ever. Me and my family WILL not ever stay at a Super 8 because of the Jackass at Lincoln, Illinois Super 8.

    The breakfast was really good and fresh. They actually took pride in preparing the food for hotel guest. The kitchen/dining area was very clean and sanitized, which was nice that we didn’t have to go outside of hotel to purchase breakfast food.

    Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We rode the motorcycle in and they were very helpful with parking and gave us rags to wipe the snow off it! Breakfast was good, bed comfortable.
