The staff were very friendly from Mike at Checkin to your maintenance staff all the way to breakfast staff. Breakfast had a good variety, and the area was neat and clean. Every employee we met greeted us as we met them and as we were leaving. All that we encountered during our stay was great.

This place checked all our boxes and then some. Comfy bed (king sized), check. Good wifi, check. Good-sized bathtub, check (even had a bar to help older folk get in -- which my bum knee appreciated). Clean, check. Loved the rustic aesthetic of the place. But it's the extras that really pushed the Farmhouse Inn into exceptional territory. The breakfast was fantabulous! We had what they called a "fritata" (I thought they had to have potatoes baked with the eggs, but here, eggs on the side). Super tasty. A really nice TV, not a cheap one. And a white noise machine -- a really good one. I'm a light sleeper, so I appreciated that. In fact, I ordered one because I slept the best I have in months. AND they have animals: peafowl, chickens, horses, a wild-looking goat, a friendly and fuzzy white dog. AND there are nature trails for you to walk about on the Hundred Acre Farm. This would be a great place to take kids for the weekend. Or a great getaway for a romantic weekend. But here's the kicker: we stayed there for the same price the soulless corporate hotels charge. True, it's further from downtown Madison and the highway, but this was soooooo worth the trip. I'd never heard of farmstays; I guess it's the American version of the Italian agroturismo. So glad we have places like this. Please stay there and keep these fine folks in business.

The accommodations were exactly as described. The house was perfectly positioned for our fishing tournament. The home owners were able to answer all questions quickly and accurately. They were also easily accessible. I would stay here again in a heart beat. Priced fairly! Great job.

The town of Madison was very delightful.

The town of Madison was very delightful. We enjoyed the restaurants and the shops and it was close to the place we were staying at The Farmhouse Inn. Parking is free. Our favorite restaurant was the 220 downtown. We also enjoyed Crows barbecue ribs, the coleslaw was fantastic! It was so delightful to get to know this part of Georgia. I would even consider moving there, it’s so clean and very impressive. Oh and I bought some shoes!!!

James Madison Inn bumped us on day of arrival and claimed they did not receive our Booking.com reservation until the morning of arrival. Booking.com told us the opposite and claimed they sent it to the Inn a week prior, on the day of booking. No one took responsibility for our ruined weekend and we still have one night's stay charge on our credit card.

The ranch location is very good. Only an hour from Atlanta, yet a world away. A peaceful charming location, with Madison only a short drive away offering small town Southern charm. Lovely room, very clean, comfortable & stylishly decorated. With great view overlooking horse paddock. The pool area was nice, and the games room offered a good selection of activities. It was lovely to have access to the horses in the paddock & to also see them in the stables area.

This place looked a little rough on arrival, reception was clean and nice looking though. Our room was as expected for what we paid for it. The bed was comfortable enough but everything else could have been much better. We walked around the hotel site at night & felt safe enough. We would not stay here again on our travels. Madison town during the day was really nice with a small-town feel to it.
