Room was clean and had a cozy feeling to it, the bed was comfortable. The shared bathroom was mostly very clean and well-maintained. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Mancos is a very small town, so there's not really any "bad" location, but this inn is right smack in the middle of it.

We came to Mancos to visit Mesa Verde National Park.
We came to Mancos to visit Mesa Verde National Park. We had an afternoon for sight-seeing and one morning to take 2 tours of the cliff dwellings. We got in one 2-hour hike and visited the museum and watched the informational movie. I would recommend spending more time in the area to take in more of the hiking trails available. Would also have liked time to stay late and view the stars in the dark conditions of the National Park with no light pollution. I would highly recommend a long stay at Mesa Verde National Park and the surrounding area.

A lovely little town - not yet spoiled by tourism like so many beautiful small towns. Very relaxing and laid back. Several art galleries, coffee shops and restaurants, and a nice bar with outside seating. I especially enjoyed the Maancos Gallery, with art by locals.
