The property was a great location where we could walk to everything including the beach. That was a huge hit with my daughter! It’s dog friendly which was awesome and the staff is very responsive if anything comes up. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location. Your shared balcony overlooks the sea and it’s just a short walk to the beach. Motel itself is a little outdated, but it’s got everything you need. No AC/fan, but as it cooled down in the night, we didn’t really need any. Some of the restaurants in Manzanita close during the week, so make sure you have a backup plan for lunch/dinner.

The room was so comfy and adorable! We loved how big and thoughtfully designed the bathroom was. The spa tub and shower were both huge and we loved them. It was nice that the toilet area had a separate door for extra privacy, which was helpful while we were both getting ready for a wedding. We loved the fireplace and all the extra touches provided. We were pleasantly shocked the available DVD choices in the DVD library! So many new releases and popular movies. It felt as comprehensive as a Blockbuster, and honestly better than any options in a single streaming service. This hotel is low key, while also being perfect for a romantic getaway. We enjoyed the general vibe of the grounds, and the bunnies. I saw a review before booking that someone felt like the hotel was like summer camp for adults, and I completely agree, but in the best way!

Our room looked out on the ocean, which was a boil of Winter storm surf. Beautiful! There's a good deli, store just a one minute walk from our room. Latte's, wine, doggie treats, etc. Instead of going out for dinner, we purchased some deli food and took it all back to our room. Great views and good food.

The location to the beach, it’s within walking distance. The room is comfortable for 4 people and the bed was comfortable too. The kids enjoyed being able to turn on the fireplace. Especially, since we live in New Orleans.

    Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park, and Oswald West State Park are nearby. We kayaked nearby in Nahalem, and took a drive down to Tillamook for sights and creamery tour. This place is centrally located to all this.

    We loved that it was uncrowded and we walked up and down the town every day. You need to be prepared to bring your own food which we knew ahead of time, so that was fine. We did eat at Wanda's, which was recommended by the hotel office and thought it was wonderful!!

    This town is all about the beach for us! SO beautiful! We brought our little Cavapoo puppy and found the town to be exceptionally dog friendly. Great place to travel with your pet. The town center is quaint with cute shops and a few restaurants. There is a winery tasting room as well. Everything is walkable.

    Manzanita is a friendly, well situated and maintained community with a beautiful beach at the end of its main street. We had breakfast at Yolk and a dinner at Mighty Thai—two of our favorite restaurants there.

    The view is amazing! We stayed on the first floor and we saw the ocean right from our window. The hotel is a bit outdated, but everything is very clean and there is no nasty smell from carpet(I’m very sensitive to smells) - thank you for cleaning everything so well! Bedsheets are clean and smell good. Bathroom is a bit old but well maintained. We were there during Memorial Day weekends so it was a bit pricey, but still good price among other available options. Fireplace in room was such a dream! The atmosphere is very cozy❤️

    The hotel is few steps from the ocean coast with beautiful view of the ocean. The room has a fridge, coffee maker, microwave and all you need to eat and prepare meal in your room. The bathroom was clean, water pressure and temperature was great. Parking available in front of the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Super easy check-in and check out. Internet connection was not perfect, but you are there to enjoy the beauty of nature.

    We have stayed here several times over the years. Each time has been very pleasant. We travel with our dogs and Sunset Surf has been very accommodating. Letting us wash the sand off our dogs feet and giving us old towels to dry them. The views are spectacular and only a few steps from the beach. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as our family.
