The area is quiet at night. No smoking allowed on the property. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We stayed in a 3 bed suite with one king and two queens. We stayed in room 207. Needles has the appearance of a semi ghost town as if the economy has dropped out. Of course I was there on a Sunday of a holiday weekend (Presidents day) . Needles is small with many boarded up businesses, dry and dusty, actually rather depressing. Staying in Needles, though, is advantageous for the route we have to take between homes. This is the best of the several hotels we have tried over the years. We ate at the Wagon Wheel, an historic restaurant with excellent servers and good food. Pleasant and comfortable. Had everything you need and very clean. Fridge size enough for a decent long stay and the only negative was the train tracks nearby. Needles is a small town with friendly people. We were just passing through and stopped at the wagon wheel to eat.. Staff is very friendly and helpful.. and the food!! OMG the food there is the best!
