On the banks of the Colorado River in Laughlin, the Pioneer Hotel features a 24-hour casino and a variety of on-site dining options. The rooms are furnished with cable TVs. Compact and relaxed. Nice Casino with some slots which actually paid out. Food was good.
An on-site movie theater, spa and private beach strip are featured at this resort. Less than 1 mile from California and Arizona state borders, Avi Resort & Casino offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. I love that they do a temperature check on everyone entering and the partitions between every machine. Check in was simple and quick, room was spotless. Staff were all very friendly.
Featuring an outdoor pool overlooking the Colorado River, this contemporary Laughlin, Nevada resort features a casino and three fine restaurants. Laughlin Outlet Center is a half mile away. Very nice, clean and large size room. Staff was very cordial and friendly. Front desk answered all our questions.
I really enjoyed staying at the Tropicana,,I was disappointed that the Laughlin motorcycle river run was not happening in Laughlin,,that was the main reason for my visit,,however the atmosphere of just being there was great,,COME ON CITY OF LAUGHLIN BRING BACK THE RIVER RUN!!!
The only thing I like was location and private beach where I stay at. No buffet and not much good places to eat, and high prices in the casino restaurants. It cost me almost $12 for small coffee and c roll..
The river this time of year is beautiful and not so crowded. The water taxis are a plus and the Pioneer lets you win a little. the Salt Grass Steak house at the Golden Nugget is fine dining with a fine dining price tag. The steaks were excellent and the service adequate.
Casino Drive, where the casinos/resorts are located is Laughlin's much smaller version of The Strip. I ate at In-N-Out Burger with my 2 kids and eventually in my room (We got a cooler and got some food). We ate the chicken strips & fries that a friend got us from the bar during "Happy Hour." It's easy to get around Laughlin because it's a small town. My favorite spot is the park by the Riverside's (another nearby casino/resort) parking lot. Other places to check out in Laughlin are the riverwalk, Christmas Tree Pass, riding a water scooter or small boat on the Colorado River and outlet store (It's small but worth checking out).
getting from place to place was alot of work. We didn't find out untill our last day that the water taxi had all day passes because if you ride there and you want to ride back thats 10 bucks and if you leave again well thats a lot of money especailly if there are 5 people riding or you are broke and going to your room to refresh. Driving to each casino isn't bad except Saturday there is no parking if you go out after 10pm. The food was great, the girls were quick to bring drinks. All the places were clean and people were polite.
My husband and I traveled for our 1 year anniversary. Laughlin was nice small town, loved the Colorado River. The Tropicana Hotel was ok wish the rooms had Refrigerators and a microwave so we can buy food and snacks.
..We moved to the pioneer from the golden nugget next door for the last 2 nights of our laughlin stay.our ground floor motel.. Check in was slow, but very polite friendly staff 😁😁style room was basic, clean and the bed was comfy. The pool was lovely, the hot tub in particular, but the whole pool area had only 4 sunbeds, no chairs, no umbrellas, we found it very odd. All in all we enjoyed staying here, and will stay here again 😊
As always, our checkin and checkout was smooth as silk....the park has shower/bath and laundry services that are squeaky clean....shuttle service is wonderful AND the staff is excellent! Also love the fact that we have access to the Adult Pool/Bar and other services at the hotel.... Many thanks!!
The hotel is one of the best on the river. It is easy to get around and there are a lot of food choices. Casino had a lot of excitement and this made it fun... staff was nice. The buffet was better than most Vegas buffets. And the staff in the buffet were very welcoming and attentive....
I loved the fact that it was right on the river and the distance from other hotels was short and sweet. The casino was clean and spacious with great spots to eat like Bubba Gump and Claim Jumper.
Located across the strip but right in the center made for easy travel around Laughlin. Welcome staff was friendly. Easy to book from on the app, large hotel with several rooms. Cheap prices
Didn't eat at location. The rooms were nice but the room (24th floor) we were in was WAY out dated, but hotels new remodel is beautiful.
Location is convenient, but no breakfast in the hotel is inconsistent.
Lots of good and cheap food corners inside the hotel.
