RV Park at Don Laughlin's Riverside Resort offers spaces to park a recreational vehicle/caravan in Laughlin, Nevada, 99 mi from Las Vegas. The RV Park at Don Laughlin is simply fantastic. Full hookup for our 27ft motorhome for 27$ a night is unbeatable. The staff was ultra friendly and the location is great. Laughlin is a lovely town and worth a visit. Especially the casino at the Riverside Resort. Black Jack with one deck is kinda nostalgic.
Located in the center of the Laughlin Strip on the Colorado River, this hotel is a replica of a 19th-century Mississippi paddlewheel riverboat. we were sorry to hear that the water pipes broke an it was so bad. we still had the best or sorry same great treatment as should. also I left note to please leave couple bottles water if can as my 92 yr. An on-site movie theater, spa and private beach strip are featured at this resort. Less than one mile from California and Arizona state borders, Avi Resort & Casino offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. Always a great place to stay and relax. Clean room excellent Beach and pool area
Las Vegas experience without all the hype. No touristy people bothering you. A relaxing experience. River walk is nice. Have jet skis available. Love the river dinner cruise but not running this time because of low water level.
The city is definitely based on the casinos. We went there for a show, which was very entertaining. If you don't gamble, there is not a whole lot to do there, especially in the winter. There are water related activities in the summer. There are river cruises and several places that rent jet skis. All of the casinos have multiple restaurants to choose from, including everything from fast food to fine dining. The food was excellent everywhere that we ate, with a special shout out to the Saltgrass at the Golden Nugget. We had eaten at another Saltgrass in another city and enjoyed it. Our waiter had worked at a number of Saltrgrass restaurants and knew exactly where we had visited before. His knowledge of the history or the company and its various location was very interesting and his menu recommendations were spot on. He was very personable and, even if the food wasn't great (which it was), we'd probably go back just to see him again.
We enjoyed all the meals, great buffets , Chinese and steak houses. Liked walking up in the dessert to check out the petroglyphs. Had a great time on 6 different golf courses within an hour and a half. Enjoyed visiting friends from back home and golfing with them and our resort had a great pool and hot tub. The gambling was fun but left them more money than they gave us. Laughlin ranch golf course was our favourite but followed closely by Mohave resort golf course 2 minutes from the resort. The Aquarius hotel had a great buffet and breakfast was great right at the Avi resort. Laughlin is very easy to drive in. We landed in Las Vegas and rented a car and drove about an hour and 45 minutes to the resort.
Been 10-15 years since last trip so liked the river walk Not much to do locally Thought the river taxi was free years ago Should be sponsored by casinos to encourage more freedom to visit other casinos Maybe a zip line or water park or diving range Just saying
The Riverside Hotel and Casino is good as they have lots to do, bowling, theater, casino, great pool and spa, nonsmoking areas and good restaurants. River walk is great to walk from casino to casino. Water taxis are fun to ride seasonally, shut down in winter and other water sports on river.
The Labyrinths are a good way to spend some time if you dont mind the 10 minute walk, (there is nowhere to park a car.) It is behind the Tropicana Hotel and there are 3 mazes. You have to follow the clues on the ground, arrows and such to find the second and third ones. It was a fun thing to do while waiting for check-in time. It is not wheelchair accessible but is a good place for adults and kids who don't mind a short walk and a few easy to climb hills.
The ladies at the front desk (which is located in the Casino) were very very friendly and kind at check in and check out. So was the room, nothing special, but for that cheap rate very okay and clean. I wish there had been a refrigerator, but I can live without it a few days. I wasn’t there for the Casinos but for exploring the area around. But...
Staff throughout the casino/hotel were very polite and tentative to your needs. Room was clean and comfortable. Place has something for everyone to do including kids. Great job in your renovations. Keep up the good job. Best hotel on the Laughlin strip. Will definitely stay again.
Staff is super nice, absolutely the best customer service my wife and I have received from any hotel. From check in to check out, valet and bell desk. Everything and everyone was great.
This was where I won the most money on video poker. 3 times I hit for a thousand plus. The Salt Grass Steakhouse is easily the best dinning in Laughlin.
The hotel was great, massive with everything you need;even a classic car museum
Cheap hotel in our way to los Angeles. Had some Fun in casino
