United StatesThe room was large. The bed is comfortable. They had a wonderful breakfast that ran until 10am. Even if you came at 10 o'clock they kept the food out. It was hot and fresh. They have a wonderful salmon chowder at 5pm each evening and warm chocolate chip cookies until both were gone. We will recommend it to all family and friends.

We arrived quite late, were welcomed by very friendly and helpful staff. All rooms have a beautiful ocean view. Beds were really comfy, rooms spacious and clean. Great direct beach access!
Really good value, beat much more expensive hotels on our trip
Access to pool with sauna and hot tub included.
Great breakfast with cold and warm meals.
The hotel also offers some nice additional serviced (free ice water and cookies, local craft beer and wine at fair prices etc)
We loved it!

Was there to visit college roommate.
Was there to visit college roommate. Hawk Nest cafe is good, but go early if you want pizza. They ran out of dough. :( We had a lovely walk on the beach and also explored Pacific Beach nearby. Pelican Brewery was a fun spot to grab a bite and watch the sunset from the outdoor seating area.

Neskowin is a wonderful small secret town on the OR coast.
Neskowin is a wonderful small secret town on the OR coast. There isn't much commerce so you will likely end up in Pacific Beach or Lincoln City. They are fun but busy. It is nice to stay in a quiet town and go out if you choose. The beach is lovely, Proposal Rock is beautiful and the food/drink options at the local Store and Hawk Creek cafe are superb!! Local and gourmet. They also have a nice Farmer's Market to pick up several goodies. There are also some great hikes nearby. Cascade Head offers breathtaking views along the coast.

We have been coming yearly to Neskowin for decades.
We have been coming yearly to Neskowin for decades. We can't even consider other beaches, because we love this one and the village. It's small and quiet. Proposal Rock is a draw and Neskowin is pet-friendly. People drive in and out slowly. People say hello and acknowledge each other! Charming and comfortable in many ways.
The drawback for some folks might be a lack of tourist shops, gasoline stations, health spa, etc., but one is only 20 minutes away from Lincoln City for all of that.

I loved that we could bring our dog.
I loved that we could bring our dog. Many places don't allow dogs, so I really appreciated that. Neskowin is amazing. I've been coming there since I was a child in the 1970s, and it still retains the charm it had then. There is nothing like Proposal Rock anywhere.

Clean apartment. Nice view.
Clean apartment. Nice view. Good store and restaurant on site.
Needs fly screens on the view windows could not leave windows open. Decent chairs required on the balcony.
BBQ to be cleaned and gas bottle available. It was disgusting and no bbq gas.
We left a step ladder that we took for our kayaks.
Disgusting no one getting onto this.
Please look into this asap.

I'd say its ideal for a solo traveler with a dog who isnt...
I'd say its ideal for a solo traveler with a dog who isnt bothered by this modest accommodation. It is not fancy but it had everything I needed. A bigger fridge (I brought most of my food), microwave, full size coffee maker, Wifi, clean bathroom, parking very close, beach access. Neskowin Provisions had anything you might need. I bought some wine and snacks there one day. Downside (for me), no ice machine or ice trays. I ended up buying some. They even provided dog bowls and a chuckit for ball throwing. The view and beach access are why I'll go back. The murphy bed is fine, nothing special but I slept great. We walked the beach probably 3 times a day, we saw a bald eagle 2 times. I ended up being pretty busy at work and I was able to work at a high level no problem.
