    This was an ideal stopover after flying into Fresno, being just 1hr from the airport, 30 mins from Mariposa Grove and 1.5hr from Yosemite Valley. We were in a motel room and not a cabin. The room and bed were very comfortable for our one night stay.

    Great value for a couples trip to Yosemite state park. Enjoyable stay at the hotel comfort free parking, fridge, coffee maker and clean spacious rooms. Breakfast started at 7am and we got enough fuel for the rest of the day doing hikes and swimming in the lake. Close location to Bass lake, Mcswain lake aqua sports, tenaye, wawona falls or Yosemite park. So much to explore you definitely need to come with your car and drive around. It’s a beautiful nature and safe clean peaceful area. Romantic, adventurous trip for us a newly we couple:) We are already excited to come again to Oakhurst!

    very close to Yosemite. 20 mins from the south entrance and 1 hour 30 minutes from Yosemite Valley, which is perfect, as you would still come back to Oakhurst do groceries,s and go to good restaurants

    Our room was a bit small so there was hardly any room from end of bed to window. Bed was also too soft. But nice big shower/hottub combo. Good breakfast and nice host Jo. Perhaps request a larger room.

    Great pit stop for Yosemite, I've stayed at other hotels and they've been fantastic. I opted for a more economical one this time around but obviously you get what you pay for. Would come back again as a pit stop for Yosemite

    The service people in this city were so friendly and helpful. There were many restaurants to choose to eat. Both places we had dinner were tasty and efficient. There is a clothing/souvenier shop in town with great selection. The visitor center was helpful and offered an adequate choice of Yosemite souveniers. Make sure you have a reservation for Yosemite or book a tour a head of time. Discover Yosemite Tours was excellent.

    Great location for heading into Yosemite. Took approximately 1.5hours to get into Vernal Fall area. Oakhurst is a pleasant town with supermarket and other local shops. The hotel restaurant does excellent food and cocktails and is always lively and busy with good atmosphere. Pool and Spa (jacuzzi) were perfect for aching legs after hiking in the day. Room size was great for us - a little old fashioned, but perfectly clean and charming.

    Nice, big room. We had the best breakfast from all of the other motels that we had stayed at during our roadtrip. Wide selection of breakfast options (eggs, sausages, waffles, toasts, oats, bagels, tea, coffee....)

    The location is very good to visit Yosemite (only 25 minutes drive to mariposa grove) and near Oakhurst (5 minutes drive) where you can find many restaurants or grocery stores. The hotel was clean.
