Best Western Plus Flagler Beach Area Inn & Suites, hotel in Palm Coast

Located within 17 miles of The Casements and 24 miles of Daytona International Speedway, Best Western Plus Flagler Beach Area Inn & Suites provides rooms in Palm Coast.

Exceptional staff, excellent pricing considering I booked the hotel 10 minutes before I got there. Had a small inconvenience that the staff solved promptly and with great professionalism. I’m in hotels constantly and I Will be using BW+ in the future, as I had no idea how good of an experience I’d have being there. On Nov10, my check out day, I was surprised to learn my clean, quiet, low cost room, came with a full course breakfast! I’ve stayed at $375 a night hotels with “$17.99 per person” breakfast catering. Thank you to the African American gentleman at the front desk on the morning of the 10th, I wish I caught his name. For my minor inconvenience, he took off close to $50 dollars for the sake of making sure I had an excellent experience. That 50 dollars, combined with the excellent experience, will give Best Western Plus my business for any future trips I go on. Thank you for the courtesy and professionalism BW+.

My overall opinion, residents don’t care for smaller children in or around the pool areas. We had 2 instances where they were very rude concerning my young grandson’s playing loudly in the pool. Never did they splash anyone or invade their space, simply having a good time.

Perfect for our Thanksgiving family reunion. We walked to the European Village for dinner. Lots of choices and live music on Friday night. Across from the marina with easy access to the boat docked there.

The beaches were beautiful, but parking was tough. I highly recommend the dolphin experience at Marineland. We also visited European Village which was close to our resort, but nothing was open until 11:30am, so if you are an early riser, for sure make another plan.

Christy at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The unit was spacious. Screened in patio was very enjoyable with great view of the ponds and fountains. Pool and waterfall were very nice. The resort was convenient to dog friendly beaches, restaurants, walking trails and parks. Palm Coast is a very pretty city.

The roads and signage are set up to handle lots of traffic.

The roads and signage are set up to handle lots of traffic. Fortunately it was the end of spring break and traffic was busy but not bad. This is a pretty town with lots of planting in shopping centers and on the medians. I was travelling with a local resident so finding things was easy but it would be hard to find basic services without local knowledge. Perhaps there is a map of the business district that would help find a restaurant, drugstore or grocery store. Or even the city office. There are lots of places to eat but those near the beach fill up early - and they are often the best, Beachfront Grill at Flagler Beach was excellent and reasonable. Easy access to the beach at Flagler but it was cold in mid-March and we just tried to stay warm.

The Legacy Vacation resort is very well placed: near a Marina, Shopping for food is easy and near by, to the beach is the nearest route is over the bridge (3$ toll cash or credit card) about 10 Minutes. A trip to historic St Augustine is recommended over the A1A about 50 very relaxing Minutes a really an enjoyable. We found a parking lot for free at the Madonna de la leche garden. Otherwise there was paring available for 10$ (private) or about 15$ (visitor) a day available. We will be back in the nearest occasion.
