First of all we enjoyed the beautiful view of the beach from our balcony and taking a morning walk on the beach . St. Andrew’s State Park is a great place to visit where you can relax and pick up sea shells and maybe see an Ice Cream boat come by. The Turtle Girls is a great place for a little shopping . Mid-August: lots of families, and not really party town (like Daytona), so that was a nice surprise. Calm waters most of the time. Not a lot of shells though. Lots of fish and some other wildlife. Pier was beautifully clean (likely due to the fact that one has to pay to visit - it's cheap). McGuire's Irish Pub has the best Senate Soup. Fish and chips were okay (it's made with a catfish-like fish, not haddock, and is not beer battered). But the shepherd's pie and soup was amazing! Go deep sea fishing with Jubilee Fishing! Panama City beach is just the right place to take a quick getaway trip. They have plenty of front beach hotels that you can see the beautiful ocean view from. There are many stores and restaurants and convenient stores in every corner, if not, there are many just a couple miles away. Panama City Beach is a wonderful place to vacation. There are activities for every age. The white sand and sunshine yield a level of peace that is hard to find! The waves offer hours of entertainment and enjoyment for both the young and the young at heart. The boardwalk features shopping and dining of various assortments. The accommodations are available either in the heart of all the activity or secluded with the sounds of seagulls, waves and tranquility. This is the perfect vacation whether you prefer to party all night or curl up on the couch with a good book. There are many different aspects of Panama City that people don't know. There is a Marina side that is quiet and low key and there is the Pier Park side that has a lot of activities to do. In between there are parks and games, activities and restaurants galore. Panama city beach never disappoints!
