Very friendly woman at the reception and 2 nice Kingsize beds. The bathroom (shower was clean and functional) had a ventilator and a small window. Restaurants and Grocery Outlet were in walking distance.

The Mother Lode delivered with great value for the money. Perfect budget spot for a wedding weekend with friends. Newly renovated rooms and a nice pool area made the stay very comfortable. Short drive to central Placerville.

This has been one of the quietest Motel 6 I’ve been to. I had a really early check in and although I had to pay an extra $30 to do that, they accommodated me with no problem. I opted to stay one additional night so I could do some shopping locally and again, it was no problem. I just had to sign the new contract and get my key reprogrammed. The staff there are so friendly and welcoming. I had nice conversations with Rach one of the 3 I came into contact with. There were no issues with other room guests, the ground were fairly cleam. They provided dog waste bags which was a pleasant surprise because I haven’t had any at the last 2 I’ve stayed at. The linens could’ve used something more than just some sheets and a thin bed spread because it is right next to the crest of where snow comes down to so it can get cold there. Which is what happened to me. That is my only gripe though. Everything else was great!
