This hotel was wonderfully close to Saddleback ski mountain where we had 2 beautiful days on the slopes. The town itself has a movie theatre, bowling alley, grocery store, and many restaurants. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. An all around wonderful experience!

Absolutely loved staying at Victoria and Mike's. The location was stunning. The view overlooking the lake was amazing, and I Ioved watching all the deer grazing in both the front and back yards. The apartment was so comfortable and well-appointed. It had everything we needed for a super relaxing and quiet stay. Victoria was always extremely responsive and accommodating. The place was spotless and beautiful. The bed was firm but very comfortable with really nice sheets. The view never gets old, and yet the apartment is very close to town. I hesitate to write such a positive review because I'm sure it will be booked the next time I want to stay!

We really liked the comfortable, cozy, and spacious cabin. The staff was super nice and helpful. They suggested many fun activities that where going on that weekend. We also enjoyed the hot tub, pool, sauna, and game room. The area around Rangeley is beautiful. We are planning to come back!

Extremely Disappointing Stay — Would Not Recommend

Extremely Disappointing Stay — Would Not Recommend We booked and paid in advance for a pet-friendly room with a deck/patio and lake view, totaling $414.20 plus a $41 pet fee. At no point before or during check-in were we told that the deck was under construction and completely inaccessible. We only discovered this upon entering the room, where caution tape blocked the sliding door and access to the outdoor space we had specifically requested. The following day, active construction took place directly outside our room, including loud sawing, hammering, and workers standing near our door. It was especially stressful for our dog and ruined what was supposed to be a peaceful getaway. When we raised the issue, we were offered no room change, discount, refund, or meaningful solution. We left very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a relaxing, lake-view, or pet-friendly stay.

A small new England town in the fall/winter/spring that...

A small new England town in the fall/winter/spring that explodes with lake fishing in the summer. Hit the high spots: Height of Land and Quill Hill for fantastic views of the area. Stop by the Ecopelagicon store for outdoor supplies, rentals and great selection of Maine souvenirs.

Quill hill was lovely to visit on the first day.

Quill hill was lovely to visit on the first day. Great museums and excellent local shops. No breakfast was severed at hotel and hard to find in town. Checkout small Falls very easy to get to. Most trails are slippery and very wet that we checked out.

Loved being close to both Rangeley Village and Oquossoc.

Loved being close to both Rangeley Village and Oquossoc. There are great places for ice cream and groceries in both places as well as family restaurants and boat rentals on Rangeley Lake and Mooselookmeguntic. We had great weather the 1st week in August. Rangeley State Park was another great place to spend the day.

We visited in the shoulder season (early Spring) so not much in town was open, but I appreciated that its a small town and the grocery store was only a couple of minutes away. Spring hiking was very muddy and wet (as to be expected) but the views of the mountains are outstanding. LOVE the bowling alley!

We made our reservation almost a year in advance for the 100...

We made our reservation almost a year in advance for the 100% solar eclipse. The Rangeley area was absolutely packed for the eclipse. We had our own private spot right on the Lake downtown. Did not have to deal with crowds, parking, or traffic. Walked to restaurant (Sarge's) for lunch. Our accommodations were perfect: full kitchen, stove, refrigerator, big screen tv, and right on the Lake. The staff (owners) was friendly and helpful. Would not hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel is very nice and has a convenient parking lot in front of the room. It's just a short walk from the town center (which can still be reached by car) and from the park and the beautiful lakes in the area. There's also a supermarket and gas station nearby. The staff is very friendly, and the room is comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience

Haven't been to Rangeley in quite some time. It's really a very nice, welcoming place. Loved the park/lake/marina along the main street. Very nice stay at Saddleback Inn. Will definitely stay again on our next visit.
