The stay at this motel was absolutely awful. We walked into the room and there was water all over the floor in the bathroom. The tub leaked. The ice bucket leaked all over and when I went to clean it up the white towel turned almost black.
I live right around Utica and although I would never want to live in a city I had a great experience in Rochester. I was there for only one day but the City had much to offer and did not seem overcrowded or busy like Syracuse or Albany. The roads were not congested and the people seemed down to earth and friendly.
We only spent one night but throughly enjoyed the George Eastman House! A tour guide spent over an hour walking thru the estate describing his life and the wonderful gifts he gave to the city and other places especially involving education! Would love to return in the spring when gardens are in bloom!
Visiting for a volleyball tournament didn’t see much of Rochester but while there a snow storm occurred. I was amazed that the city did not have plows and city wide clean up going on throughout the night . Woke with at least 8-10 inches of snow no businesses seemed to do any snow removal. Either my suggestion to all would be have 4x4 vehicle and boots
Rochester is always a great City, particularly for music and the arts. Lots of good shopping and unique stores. Good craft beer, wine and cider. Large enough to have something for everyone, small enough to easily navigate.Beautiful at Christmas!

“This was my first stay in Rochester and this was a beautiful Hotel. There just so happened to be a blizzard and they had the parking lot ready for guest ot was clean we had a King Suite which was mind blowing and beautiful staff was amazingly nice the pool area is great. Breakfast was delicious, everything was clean, best place I've stayed at yet and I travel alot. It is also like 5 to 10 minutes of a drive to everything you might need. Oh, and it was so AFFORDABLE!”
