I loved the Guy Harvey resort. In fact, this is the first review I am making on booking.com because I feel this resort deserves five stars, or a 10 out of 10. The facilities are beautiful, clean, updated, and it sits right on the beach. There’s such a fun beach vibe and a welcoming atmosphere. Santiago’s has fun music, bingo nights and trivia nights and great food in general if you just want a low-key breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It’s situated close to the downtown area and right on the beach, surrounded by restaurants and great food, all within walking distance, so you can’t go wrong with location. I was so sad to leave! In addition to welcoming me, they welcomed my dogs and everybody was so friendly and inviting. After reading the reviews, they were a little bit mixed, and I did not know what to expect. My goodness I was pleasantly surprised! This is the best Secret in Saint Augustine Beach! Let me close this out by saying I have very high standards in Guy Harvey’s met the bill in every respect. Don’t hesitate to book.

Located close to the beach, a very short walk from the hotel. A walk to cafes and restaurants and ice cream.

Everything! It was right in the middle of the heart and soul of St. Augustine.

The property was beautiful, clean and easy to navigate. Our room had a large balcony and a wonderful view of the bridge of lions. I used an office chair that was at a desk in the room to sit in front of the window and people watch. Also enjoyed the balcony in the morning. The rocking chairs were nice. The shower was ok except you had to get wet turning on the water lol. The toilet was loose from the floor but that’s my only concern. Everything else was very nice. We didn’t try the restaurant or bar in the main hotel area but the lobby was gorgeous. The valet parking was a nice addition as well since parking in that area can be tricky. We’d definitely stay here again!!

The staff at Starbucks did not look like they were enjoying their jobs. The staff at the hotel was excellent.

The parking lot was adequate, the buildings were well-laid-out, and the automated entrance doors made it easy to take our luggage into the building.

The hotel is very nice. I would say boutique. The 2nd floor terrace is nice and comfy with outdoor heaters. The pool is very cutesy. Our room was roomy and comfortable.

This hotel was a very pleasant place. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. We were just a short walk across the Lion bridge to historic old town. Breakfast was a nice surprise hot and delicious. I would recommend to all my friends that the Marker is a great place to stay

Location is superb, you can walk all throughout the Historic District so no need to use your car once you arrive if you want to stay local. Staff were excellent, friendly, always smiling and very very helpful. Gave us a map of the area, pointing out where the hotel is and where other key points of interest were, also provided a list of recommended places to eat/drink, two if which we tried and both were excellent. Breakfast was good and plenty of it.
