Historic Route 66 Motel provides air-conditioned rooms in Seligman. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom. The property has free WiFi. Really cute Rout 66 decor in the rooms! Good price for the area ( they don’t raise their rates during high demand like some...)

Located in the small town of Seligman on historic Route 66 and near attractions such as the Grand Canyon, this motel offers guestrooms with free, high-speed wireless internet access. The place was very adorable and quaint! I was happy to stay here and very comfortable. The owners were accommodating and it's right across the street from Seligman's historic cafe.
Featuring free WiFi, Ash Fork Inn is located off of I-40 in Ash Fork. Free parking is provided. Grand Canyon Village is 1 hour 20 minutes' drive from the property. Staff, price, clean, can rest. We stay here 2 to 3 days per week so we must like.
Grand Canyon Caverns Inn in Peach Springs provides accommodations with free bikes and a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Unbelievable! We love this place! My family is amazed!
Located on Route 66, this lodge is less than 20 miles to the base of the Grand Canyon. A seasonal hot tub and a heated outdoor pool are featured. Diana (manager) was so incredibly helpful - went out of her way to help my with my reservation, travel and sightseeing in the area. She made my trip much better!
Seligman is best appreciated by those who know the history of Route 66. Everything in Seligman speaks to this theme and they do it very well with the displays of Route 66 memorabilia. There is very little night life even on a weekend though which is fine as long as you don't expect it.
The place is a dump. It takes advantage of Route 66 nostalgia. Unfortunately it does not deliver because the entire town goes overboard by trying to pretend that it's 1953. It is a down market approach that looks pathetic. It's like Greta Garbo in her 80s trying to hang on to her looks and fame when she was in the Origen of her career watch the classic Sunset Boulevard and you will know what I mean. The two restaurants in town the Roadkill Cafe and Westside are mediocre at best. The biggest drawback is that the town is directly adjacent to I-40 and the railroad tracks. It is very noisy at night because the trains are running all night. The only reason I Stayed there was because it seemed like a convenient stopping point between San Francisco and Santa Fe. I drove 700 miles and was eager to have a decent meal and a good nights sleep. That did not happen. I left the place at 5 AM eager to put this pathetic place in the rear view mirror.
Cute little town on historic Route 66. We stayed at Romney Motel which had comfy beds and great staff. Visited some of the shops in the morning across the street - Great photo opportunities and blasts from the past. The motorcycle display at the one shop was very impressive. We stopped by a grocery store going out of business (per hotel staff recommendation) and had a great chat with some of the locals. Then headed to Westside Lilo's Cafe (again per hotel staff recommendation) and had a great meal, though it must have been the busiest spot in Seligman so service was a bit slow. Otherwise great meals and craft beers on tap. Would come again! Thank you Seligman!
Seligman is a kitchy little town on old route 66. The town bustles by day with tour buses, and tourists lingering in town. There are little shops containing Route 66 memorabilia, good food, and even a coffee shop. Seligman is also close to the Grand Canyon, and Grand Canyon Caverns.
This is a 2-mile long Route 66 by-passed town that has been revived (much like Radiator Springs from "Cars"). It has a heavy German influence and is a major Route 66 tourist bus stop (tours from Germany, France and Italy pour through here on the way to Grand Canyon). They are colorful Route 66 shops with bustling memorabilia sales counters, an Arizona Territorial Jail and a superb comfort food(German and American) restaurant known as "Westside Lilo's Cafe". Seligman rolls up the sidewalks at 7pm except for the Cafe and a Family Dollar. They are open to 9pm. Romney Motel has good rooms with excellent beds but is not as well lit (or as expensive) as the Supai Motel next door. We chose to stay at a different Route 66 AZ town on our return, but made a special effort to go back to Lilo's... There were cars parked on both sides of the modern 4-lane main drag and the restaurant was full and so was the patio next to it. Duh!... Opening day for Octoberfest! when the hotels say they speak English, they do (in addition to German, French and Italian...) Freight trains go by every 20 minutes, but there are no RR crossings, so just rumbling, no horns.
Lots of shops to cruise through, but definiatly a tourist trap. Great food in restraunts. Having a Family Dollar to pick up a few items make it even better. After having traveled for over a week, there was a few things we needed.
