The host was a wonderful lady who took time to chat with us and told us such great stories of life in her town. She helped us with issues we had regarding our 'tech' problems for a tourist outing we had the the next day. A kind, giving person.

I liked the town and the friendly people.

I liked the town and the friendly people. The restaurants are also very good and have nice options. We ate at the Road Kill Cafe, Snowcap, and at Westside Lilo's (twice!) and enjoyed everything we ate as well as the experiences. The only reason I would have stayed a day less is that it rained most of the entire time we were there so we couldn't be outside and explore the area better. The town is near the Grand Canyon Caverns, which we toured and enjoyed, but there is not a lot to do in bad weather. One thing that amazed me is the number of tourists from other countries who were there fascinated with this part of Americana. Many stores and the restaurants have displays of road trip memorabilia. On Sunday there were four large tour buses and I should add the town was not crowded either. This is quite walkable if the weather is good.

Perfect Route 66 / Pixar Cars town.

Perfect Route 66 / Pixar Cars town. Easy to get around since it is just Main Street. Several places to eat and souvenir shop. 1 small museum inside a souvenir shop. Everyone is friendly and you really get the "small town" feeling. Add to the small town reminder, everything closes early. Shops 6pm & restaurants 8pm. Only need 1 full day to experience it all, from what I could tell.

Seligman is a quaint little place keeping the spirt of Route 66 alive. We absolutely loved it! If you need your dose of nostalgia you must visit Seligman at some point. We needed a weekend away that was easy and close to home so Seligman was our choice. We were not disappointed! There is a place there called Route 66 Motorporium. Go check that one out. They have a lot of old cars and motorcycles. They have an extensive gift shop with something for everyone. The saloon was fun. The general store was awesome. We walked up and down down too. I couldn't believe it but there were two almost identical Edsel Fords there. Not gonna lie that kinda blew my mind a little. I wonder if either of them was running driving. Anyway I am probably going back to Seligman again at some point. Everyone there was very kind and friendly and we really enjoyed the trip.

A must see on RT66!!

A must see on RT66!! There’s a lot of history there and taking time to go look at all the unique stores and places that Seligman has, is a definite must-do! From the original Snow-Cap drive-in to the Copper Cart Emporium, there’s something to see and experience here! All I can say is park and walk around! Have a burger and a really good ice cream shake at the Snow-Cap drive-in! Check out the curio and souvenir stores too! Old cars and trucks are everywhere! Even the sit-down restaurants like the Road Kill diner and the Roadrunner Cafe are cool to visit and enjoy a meal at! There’s several great classic motels there if you can take the time and spend the night! Definitely check out and visit Seligman Arizona! You’ll love it! I did! ❤️

Historic Seligman has many Route 66-themed businesses, including souvenir and antique shops, restaurants and motels. Many old cars are scattered throughout the historic district, particularly at some of the businesses. It also has some historic buildings, including the home of lawman and gunfighter Commodore Perry Owens and the 1860 Arizona Territorial Jail.

This is located on one of the few remaining stretches of the old Route 66 and lives up to its name. Two destination restaurants are the Road Kill Cafe and Westside Lilo's. In my humble opinion, skip the first and hit the second. If you want to spend the night (or two) book a room at the Historic Route 66 Motel. It's a completely remodeled 1950(s) era motel where each room has been occupied by a celebrity at one time or another (including Martin Milner of the TV show named after the road). One feature if you stay there is the low rumble of trains passing through during the day and night (they don't sound their horns, thank goodness) and this adds to the charm of the place.

Due to a heavy traffic congestion on the way to seligman ,my travel was delayed almost by 3-4 hours and i could only make it by 12 am ,just called them up told my situation and the check in was done through phone itself and my rooms unlocked and keys kept inside,no late check in fee no hassle nothing,the whole process was so easy.
