Country Inn and Suites was in shambles. Would NOT recommend.

Country Inn and Suites was in shambles. Would NOT recommend. Furniture falling apart. Hot tub COLD. Pool cold. Shower did not drain. Shower was 3 holes open. A Handicap room had a higher than usual tub (at least 12" high sides). Not wide enough walk way in room for a walker (wheel chair would not have been able to navigate). Privacy shade did not go down. etc, etc.

Shakopee has so much to offer visitors Valleyfair, Renfest, Severs, Ferguson Apple Orchard, & Mystic Lake Casino plus Little Six Casino, & Canterbury Downs. There's also the Largest Candy Store in the Midwest & a preserved historical site near the river. It's a great area

it's out of the way, but really, you can get almost anywhere...

it's out of the way, but really, you can get almost anywhere in the mpls area in a half hour. it was contiguous with chanhassen where most of my activities took place. it's kind of a small-ish town so it's not congested. i like that it's near the highways.

it would of been ok if the people that came in and did what...

it would of been ok if the people that came in and did what ever wanted drink in parking lot set up grills fire in parking lot kids running around lounge all hour of night kids playing video games on the couch eating supper in lounge left garbage asking for cigarettes.

What a blast!

What a blast! We came into town for a BIG TIME ROCK N ROLL SHOW, and this place can’t be beat, yes it has been around the block, yet that gives her some character.They are rebuilding, and even the crew we met doing the work are cool! The attached restaurant has excellent chow. Go out back and check out the fire pits, super cool! 2-4-1’s open to close…WHAT? Breakfast was excellent, shout out to CHEF, what a character. Also, Deb we love ya, this gal knows her hotel stuff, what a hoot! Hope this band returns next year, ‘cause we’ll be back!

We wanted to go to the casino, but the crowds were...

We wanted to go to the casino, but the crowds were horrendous... we decided not to go. We had tickets for The Music Man at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater - fantastic show and wonderful food...would recommend this place highly!

This place was awesome. Super friendly staff. Clean room, comfy bed with lots of pillows. Good a/c. Quiet. Walking distance to the amphitheater. Breakfast was good too. Oh and the room tv was the biggest I've ever seen in a hotel room. Absolutely recommend this place if your in for a concert.
