We liked everything about our stay! Erinn was quick to communicate with us and answered all questions without hesitation. Checking in was simple, and we didn't have to worry about a thing. It was all about all of those little touches: the nice soaps, lotions, snacks, waters, and it didn't hurt that the wifi was fast, though we weren't on our phones much. If you can I definitely recommend being up early to watch the sun come up in the kitchen, it's quite lovely. Also the goats across the street are very sweet. Definitely recommend. We will definitely be back❤️❤️❤️

Free state park with hot pools and free parking.

Free state park with hot pools and free parking. The lady in the visitor centre was so helpful as she told us about the bison which were kept up the hill from the main park. You could drive round and watch them up close. Fabulous. She also told us about the Dinosaur museum which has the best fossils we have ever seen. It was brilliant. The Thai restaurant was very good too plus the craft brewery. Not many people around so it was perfect for us.

There are pictragliphs, museums, stores, good food, They also have hot spring tubs, ponds with Koi, ducks and Canadian Geese. Lots of walk ways thru the park and along the beautiful river. The town is very friendly and welcoming. We can wait to go back again.

I did not stay long, but Thermopolis is a pleasant and friendly town. low to no crime and the Hot Springs complex is worth a whole day visit. I was there in the winter. In the summer there is a dinosaur dig quite close by. the shops and restaurants are very nice. The town and Hot Springs Park are within walkable distance of each other.

    We enjoyed the mineral pool/bath.

We enjoyed the mineral pool/bath. Hot springs and swinging bridge. Drove State Park and saw lots of buffalo. Wind River Gorge is a beautiful drive. We were there on a Monday and found some stores and eating places closed. We would definitely visit Thermopolis again. Lots to see and do, especially for families with kids.

Had breakfast at the Black Bear Cafe.

Had breakfast at the Black Bear Cafe. Good food and some early morning specials! The One Eyed Buffalo was great for dinner. The Tomato and Basil Chicken was so good. The drive through the State Park is very fun. Drive out to see the bison. The surrounding area is beautiful from where the bison roam. The Wyoming Dinosaur Center is a must. So much to learn and see about many different prehistoric creatures.

The main attraction of this hotel is it's location, and that it delivers in spades. You are basically in Hot Springs National Park -- so it is definitely worth it. We went there for the dinosaur museum, which was close and great! But the park was a really welcome surprise. We did not do any spa, hot tub, etc. activities so can't comment on that.
