The family room is exactly what more hotels should have. It was a warm, cozy and spacious room. There was one full bed and two twin beds, that were conveniently placed such that everyone can sleep well with plenty of room to walk around without bumping into beds or furniture. The beds were comfortable with very clean bedding and linens. The hotel is walking distance away from the town center that has multiple places to eat and shop. It was a very convenient location with close access to river. We absolutely loved our stay at the inn and would love to come back again!!

When he heard that we'd be arriving by train, the owner graciously picked us up and gave us a tour of the quaint town. He showed us a shortcut through the lovely woods between the lodge and the main street that let us absorb the rain-foresty environment. We were pleasantly surprised by the kitchen, that was well-stocked for a DIY breakfast. The common areas were newly furnished and clean. The blonde wood and blue and white linens imparted a Scandinavian country feeling. It felt like a hot springs getaway.

That location is awesome and highly recommended! Easy to reach, super clean and provides a cosy bed and a nice bathroom in the cabin. The owners take also care of complimentary beverages in the fridge as well as coffee, tea and snacks and they are very nice people, always there to help! Thank you for this nice stay at yours!

    If you arrive into Anchorage later in the day, this is a convenient place to stop for the night between Anchorage and Denali, but isn't much of a destination of its own. Trapper Creek itself is mostly a junction of two roads without much else. You also don't get mountain views because of all the trees. I had to drive 20 miles up the road to have a view of Denali.

    Everything about this property was amazing!

    Everything about this property was amazing! Loved the view off the back deck. The hosts made us feel right at home and more than provided all we needed for a comfortable stay. Would highly recommend that those traveling to or from Denali or stopping off in talkeetna book this place. We were able to see Mt Denali off the back deck. So wonderful!
