The room was spacious and well appointed and maintained. Modern bathroom, including hairdryer. Good lighting throughout, low lighting options for evening. Very comfortable bed and pillows, quality bed linen and towels. Good outlook, easy parking and access to property. Reliable wifi. Good storage options and hanging space. Small fridge with freezer much appreciated. Microwave also good, we were able to boil water for tea & coffee. Loved the plantation shutters, however some people may be bothered by the light from the verandah lights that came in through the shutters (the room was never fully dark). Snacks were provided in the room (granola bars and fruit mix), but not tea/coffee - we brought our own.

Room was spacious and clean. Self entry was efficient and easy. Breakfast was delicious and loved chatting with staff and other guests. It was a bonus to use the laundry as well. Plus, resident cat Garfield was really cute and affectionate!

The room was very clean, comfortable, and had a good sized bathroom. The bed was comfy and the host was kind enough to provide two waters, two granola bars, and two suckers in the shape of a Bryce Canyon Hoodoo. There was plenty of space for us to park our truck and side by side as well. The view from the hotel was beautiful! We enjoyed the red rock mountains outside and were able to ride our side by side into the mountains just up the road. I would love to stay here again!

Tropic was a cute little town just 15 minutes from Bryce Canyon. There are many small cabin hotels which I like better than the big hotels and some great restaurants. We enjoyed Showdowns right in town, Stone Hearth Grill, more fine dining and Sky Nova Cafe, Bar & Grill at Clear Sky Resorts in Cannonville.

Tropic is an awesome safe and mellow little town that serves...

Tropic is an awesome safe and mellow little town that serves as an ideal base for visiting the park. Good facilities, to include, coffee shop, gas station with store, diner, restaurants and lodgings. If we stayed longer we definitely would have checked out some of the local attractions we saw advertised such as rodeo and horse rides.

Quiet, friendly, family oriented town. I felt safe walking around the entire town any time of day or night. Prices were a little steep in all the stores and eateries as you would expect from a town so close to tourist attractions.

Tropic is a great home base from which to explore Bryce...

Tropic is a great home base from which to explore Bryce Canyon, as it's so close by but quiet. The Pizza Place, in town, is really solid pizza and beer and good service. Aside from that, though, it's slim pickings food-wise: I recommend bringing your own and staying someplace where you can self cater as much as possible.

Tropic did the job we needed for self caterers. Small general store, a choice of several restaurants (nothing special but we weren'tlooking for that) an excellent gas station/store. It's a remote area but we didnt feel we needed to go anywhere elase for what we needed

This small town is very convenient to Bryce Canyon.

This small town is very convenient to Bryce Canyon. There are enough local establishments to supplement your visits to the local National Parks and other area attractions. The vibe is small town campground and had a very relaxing feel. We enjoyed our stay and will likely stay here again when we return.

Lovely place to stay! Very welcoming hosts and beautiful house. Our room was comfortable, clean and characterful. Best breakfast of our whole trip! Fresh fruit, cooked waffles with bacon/ pancakes with sausage- delicious! Short drive to Bryce National Park- a sensational location. Would certainly recommend this bed and breakfast - so much more personal than big hotels. Great to hear about the family run farm and get tips about local things, as well as meeting other travellers from different states and countries.

The hotel send you a door code a few days before which makes check in very easy when arriving late from a day in the national park. Owners sent lots of helpful information in advance on local eating. There were some recent very negative reviews. We discovered that the owner had recently had a manager who he had needed to terminate their employment. So when we visited it was great and we had no problems whatsoever We enjoyed home cooked pancakes with the owners grandmas secret recipe apple cider syrup

The house is very charming, extremely well located. The hosts were very welcoming and provided us with all the necessary equipment to use the barbecue. The house has all the necessary tools and equipment to cook and live. Tropic is very close to Bryce and has a nice restaurant and a small supermarket for all the necessities. There is a garden where you can eat at night as well.

We enjojed our stay at Tropic and have no objections ;) The room was quite clean and comfortable (two big beds for three adult people were enough). If you are looking accommodation for short-term stay, this is a good choice.
