I don’t recommend this property to rent . 1 custom service it’s very bad if you getting problem and asking to be fixed they never doing even you reach to they’re management I rented this property for 5 nights and when I arrived was very cold I reached to them to fix they never did so I pent 3 nights in cold rooms where the heater is not working The fire place completely not working To take showers it’s impossible the water is just little ear don’t com hot water The rooms on all the furniture dusting I check out 2nits in advance relating with contortions of cold in rooms and they refuse to return money for two nights . Very bad experience I don’t recommend no one to rent this property…
I love the Vail Village ! Lots of variety and everything is in walking distance-you don't need a car. Vail Village feels like being in another country, to me. I think that is what they are trying to create! Bring your wallets, this is not a poor man's destination!
The place was relaxing, quiet, and clean. The architecture outstanding. More than anything we enjoyed walking around the village and listening to the stream at the covered bridge. Food is pricey, but one is in Vail, so what isn't? One can be frugal and buy sandwiches for lunch at the market in Lionshead and carry them along on a shorter hike. Hiking possibilities in the area probably endless. The museum is a "must see" stop to go in and watch the movie about the 10th Mountain Division and their part in WWII and the subsequent founding of the booming ski industry in CO. One of the best documentaries out there - very moving regarding what the 10th did in the war effort.
There is a lot to do in Vail in the summer months as well. Hiking, biking, tubing, shopping and eating at some great restaurants. I'm sure there is golf as well. Restaurant suggestions would be Sweet Basil and Mountain Standard. Make restaurant reservations ahead of time especially with a larger group. There are shuttles to get you around and many of the hotels will provide rides to and from places but you will most likely have to wait to get picked back up. Vail is a busy vacation spot for families.
Vail is hands down the best resort in the US. The staff is friendly, the terrain is unsurpassed and the staff knows how to get skiers on/off the mountain. Next year will be certainly be better because the entire resort needs more staff.
This was an excellent winter experience for our whole family. the weather was ( mostly) great, with bluebird skies, though a bit on the COLD side. We ate at Two Elks and was easy to get into the restaurant , provided you got there before 12. Obviously the choice of food was not like in the past, but give me a bowl go chill and I'm a happy skier:)
Vail
First, the hotel is perfectly located in proximity to the Village, lifts, river and more. Our room was located on the ground floor and sliding door opened to the beautiful lawn. We loved walking around, riding bikes, fly fishing near by, sitting on the patio and so many other activities. The bed was extremely comfortable with a great selection of TV channels. The staff was spot on and extremely helpful and knowledgable.
Vail
We stayed 1 night in Vail on the way back from Moab to Denver..the hotel is beautiful, clean, close to the village! Some construction but it did not affect our stay. The bar and restaurant were very nice. Front desk staff was polite and helpful. As far as value expect everything in Vail to be pricey! Vail is beautiful would definitely stay again!
Reasonably priced accommodations a few miles outside Vail Village. Having a kitchen is a big advantage and the facilities are good, but it’s not a luxury resort, if that’s what you’re looking for. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Property is on the town bus route.
location is right in the heart if Vail village BUT not accessible by car. you must park a city block away temporarily and unload luggage and lug it to the hotel. it IS an adorable hotel with fun decorations, though.
Vail
Property was suitable for an overnight stay. Room was spacious and comfortable. Located away from main village area which we drove to the following morning. Appreciated the free village parking area.
complimentary parking, proximity to vail village and caul mountain ski, nearby shops, bars, supermarkets. great service staff and amenities.
Great location and amenities. Close to village and lifts. Ski lockers, hot tubs and room were all excellent.
The location is the best especially for being the least expensive hotel in the village
they are so kind and we checked in early they helped us for activities in Vail
Dinner (first night) was great. We ate breakfast away from the hotel.
Excellent hotel all wonderful every time I visit I am 100% satisfied
Close to the village
