Placed directly on Virginia Beach, steps from the famous Boardwalk, this hotel offers spacious suites with convenient amenities as well as a free deluxe continental breakfast. I can’t say enough good things about the staff. especially the breakfast staff. So very friendly and helpful. I’ll definitely go back again. To me, everything about the place was great. The view was awesome and, it didn’t hurt that the weather was perfect for the seven days that I was there. It was very cool watching the dolphins and the pelicans right off shore maybe 40/50 yards at the most. I highly recommend this place.

The mattresses were phenomenal! The room was big enough for my teenaged daughter and me (her mother ;) ) The balcony fully faced the ocean unlike a higher priced hotel.

If you live in Northern Virginia or points South, this is a great place to visit, even making day trips. There are some excellent restaurants. The beach is very wide. Bikers may ride all day on the bike path. Lots of themed/fun race events are held throughout the year too and that is a lot of my reason for visiting. I have also camped at local camp grounds which are close to the beach.

Families beware (Non-pot smoking): Place is overrun with pot heads. We had to put towels under connecting room door to keep out Pot Smoke. Yes, it is legal to smoke pot in Virginia. Like almost all public places, including restaurants, bars and HOTELs, smoking of any kind is NOT permitted. This went on all night long (Hilton Oceanside). Had to call front desk, however this did not stop them. I did speak with management the following morning and they were apologetic, and comp'ed valet parking. Nice gesture but didn't make up for disrupted sleep and annoyance. They also left their paraphernalia on outside balcony next to ours. I really didn't appreciate having to explain to my young son what this stuff was.

Did not stay after we made reservations. The room was awful the air did not work. The room smelled very very outdated could not sleep there. Room smelled like mold and mildew. Never got my money back. Would not recommend at all. Pictures online are not the same as actual. Parking is not safe. Office is locked if that doesn’t say it all.

What I liked the most was everything I needed was close.
What I liked the most was everything I needed was close. Wether it was food, toiletries, clothes you name it was close by. There were so many neat attractions that we saw while walking. Next time I go I will make sure the weather is a little warmer so I don't have to drive lol. its was cold so we had to drive for things we wanted.

The location was perfect, the room was clean, and the staff was amazing! Our cleaning lady was super kind. She did such a wonderful job at making sure we had everything we needed. This was one of the cheaper hotels on the boardwalk, so I expected much less. It was definitely not though! I would recommend this place to anyone. We will definitely be taking another vacation to Virginia Beach and staying at this hotel again!

Great location, walking distance of lots of restaurants and stores. Also, it's very easy to go to the beaches from the hotel, 15 min to Chesapeake Beach, 35 min to Sandbridge Beach, and 20 min to Virginia Beach-boardwalk. The room was clean, with very comfortable beds. The swimming pool is very small, indoors, but we were lucky that never had more than one family at the time. The free parking lot is on the 3rd floor, north side, of the public parking garage across the street.

The hotel is in a good location. It was on the boardwalk so the beach was easy to get to. Having a balcony is always a nice plus.An incident occurred at the hotel requiring police assistance and it was handled very calmly and quietly and the staff was very calm about it also. It made for an interesting story of my vacation and I would go back to Marjac at any time.
