Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront, hotel in Virginia Beach

Located on the Virginia Beach boardwalk, Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Virginia Beach provides oceanfront rooms. All rooms are nonsmoking and equipped with a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave.

Every room is oceanfront and directly on the boardwalk, steps away from the beach and King Neptune. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Front desk staff was very friendly. Parking available out front, we had 2 vehicles and they allowed us to park both on the lot since it wasn’t busy, which was nice. Normally, it’s one vehicle per room with extra parking across the street.

Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront, hotel in Virginia Beach

Located on the sandy coast of the Atlantic Ocean in Virginia Beach, this hotel sits right on the beach. It features on-site dining and free in-room WiFi.

The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. I loved the view of the ocean. I have never really been one with time or money to travel, so it was very relaxing. I especially liked leaving the sliding door open just a bit so you could hear the waves.

We ate at restaurants but they were old favorites. Getting around Virginia Beach was very easy, especially with GPS. We mostly enjoyed the beach, walking, driving and shopping this time of year (November).

I like VA Beach and I would surely come back to visit again.

I like VA Beach and I would surely come back to visit again. My husband and I came to visit the family for Thanksgiving. There were Christmas displays on the boardwalk. It was awesome. There are close places to shop, and eat out.

The VA Aquarium with the Troll exhibit (through January) was the reason for our trip and it did not disappoint! The Adventure Park looked like lots of fun but we did not have time to do that. We also visited the Christmas light show at the Botanical gardens, which was absolutely magical, and then returned the next day to see the gardens themselves, which are beautiful!

its super convenient that most hotels are right in front of the beach. one of best things to do is take morning or evening walks on the endless board walk everyday and enjoy the view of the ocean and the people. there are many many restaurants you can go to, even just a short drive away. there are also nice shops for shopping in the downtown area too. There are also many golf courses to play a round of golf.

Everything I wanted and needed was in walking distance. Some great places to eat. When I go to VA Beach I go to relax, hang out by the beach and read. If you want more there are numerous attractions.

Good variety of restaurants, bars, and hotels.

Good variety of restaurants, bars, and hotels. Appears to have been invaded by the lowlife biker crowd: noisy, crowded streets, noisy, messy restaurants. Overbuilding the beach area to compete with sloppy Ocean City, Maryland. Not a relaxed, comfortable beach area anymore. And way too expensive for what it offers. Grand Cayman Island is more economical.

I enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, clean facilities, water pressure and temperature were good. We had a sea view from the balcony, so sleeping with the ocean breeze was very good. The location was excellent, right on the boardwalk. Elevator to the upper floor. We were given the option to purchase breakfast, which is good, so we could choose where to eat, either, at the hotel or elsewhere. There is a swimming pool and a small gym. I will come back.

On the page it said that breakfast was included and it is not true so I do not recommend that hotel to anyone. When I made the reservation it said that check-out from the hotel was until 02:00 pm and when I arrived at the hotel to make the payment they told me that I had to leave at 11:00 am, so the advertising and information of this place is misleading. Also the blankets were in poor condition

Fantastic location just behind the Virginia Beach boardwalk overlooking the beach. We had a beach view and a balcony to sit out on. The room was large, very clean, with good Wi-Fi/Internet. Considering it’s called a motel the rooms a step up from that.
