Offering an outdoor pool, Mountain View Lodge is set in Wimberley in Texas Hill Country. The lodge is on 2.2 hectares overlooking the Blanco River Valley. This was my second time to stay here. If you’re in need of quiet time with nature and the night stars, this is where you want to be. It’s absolutely safe, clean and the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Always sad when I have to leave. But I’ll be back.

Wimberley is very picturesque with a small town feel, but at the same time it has everything you would need for your stay. A beautiful place in the hill country! Several areas nearby for swimming and hiking and abundant wildlife for us city folks who don't get to see that very often.
Blanco River, Cypress creek, walk to shops and restaurants all very close by and gaze upon the Beauty of Cypress creek. Community Pizza has the best bartenders and some f the best food anywhere. Chills on the creek has great live music and views(the chicken fried steak was legit).
Wimberley is like a Christmas town. Very cute, but very small. However, it has a lot of restaurants and the best are the many, many art stores, boutiques and just the whole environment of the little town is great. This is my second time in Wimberley and still love it. This time I went to the Blue Hole and Jacob's well. Such a fun hike. Nature is beautiful.
Stumbled on a Hamburger Stand next to Subway. The people there were great and the burger was WONDERFUL!!! Had not had such a good one in a long time. HEB was also good to get to for various needs. Wedding was a Firefly Farms....a very special place for a wedding. The Hurricane even cooperated and the wedding was held outdoors. After pictures taken.....the rains came...at least on the ride home. Would like to attend one of their festivals and really see the town. Was there to play for a rehearsal and wedding so not much time for anything else. Enjoyed it while there, howevr.
A great place for the whole family to enjoy outdoor activities. Hiking; swimming at Blue Hole and/or Jacob's Well. Also enjoyed the glass blowing demonstration at Wimberley Glassworks. The kids loved "counting the boots" all around the town.
We really appreciate the privacy and the stay right on the water. We enjoyed renting kayaks and going up the river. Little pioneertown was cute but non-functioning. We enjoyed the s'more kit and starting a fire right by our place that was very cozy. The beds are super comfy we slept like a baby very quiet and peaceful out here. Bring your own towels was really easy we didn't have any issues with that. We had a little trouble with our Wi-Fi but there was still great cable and we had a great time thank you again
