My husbsnd & I have been around this area all our lives and never knew Lewis & Clark Resort existed! It is a hidddn treasure!! The view is amazing and it is so peaceful. Our 3 small dogs were welcome and they loved the walking trail that was right along the river. We were upgraded to a cabin and it was very nice. We totally enjoyed our mini vacation.

We were there as vendors for Riverboat Days. Lots to do during the festival both at the riverfront and other locations. El Tapatio was a wonderful place to eat and so much food for the $$. Holiday Inn Express is one of the cleanest and friendliest hotels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at - definitely recommend!

Yankton is a nice quiet town with the lake being the main attraction. The mall is pretty much dead and gone but there is a Walmart and Hy-Vee for groceries and anything you may need as well as a Bomgaars and TSC if you're looking for those types of items. I really miss the Bonanza but there are many other restaurant options. The hospital and clinic are modern.

There was supposed to be a swimming pool but there was not. Extremely disappointed. I choose this motel because of a swimming pool. Thank god there was a carnival in the mall parking lot or there would have been nothing to do.

It was nice motel and a lot of people and things to do. We were there for the evening and it wasn't very quiet, but location was good and rooms were comfortable. A restaurant was located just next door and was good food! There was a fridge in the room and a nice place to sit outside and visit around a campfire or enjoy the view.
