De Kloof Estate is a gem. Historic, attractive and wonderfully restored. The rooms were well decorated and well done, especially the bath rooms. The staff was very professional and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic. I highly recommend the De Kloof Estate. BP

The property is in a really nice neighborhood in the lovely town of Swellendam, with beautiful views of the mountains. The room was spacious, upscale and clean, and the pool was heated and comfortable. There’s a trail along the river behind the property that takes you up the hill for some incredible views. The host Melani was friendly and welcoming. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

We were just driving through and needed a place to stay. The hostess was lovely and accommodating. The unit is fully equipped nice kitchen, braai and the rooms are comfy with a backup generator. As a bonus (if you like animals) there were donkeys sheep and chickens to hang out with. Would stay there again anytime.

    This is a very relaxing place.

    This is a very relaxing place. Away from the huzle and noise of the City. The Breede river that passes the house make it more relaxing during the night listening to the water running over rocks. Will definitely go back again.
