Loved the setting, the dam for swimming and the facilities. Great hiking and fabulous flora.

I highly recommend Rietfontein Ostrich Palace as a stop over destination. The accommodation is clean and comfortable and you are made to feel special in this unique space where attention to detail has been used to recreate the ambience of the ostrich palace era. The hosts are attentive and friendly and the dinner served is excellent and highly recommended.

Must say pictures could not do justice for this place.. Must experience it your self. My resting place tonight is amazing .I needed this ,after hectic working long weekend. Esmarie were very helpful and the food served by Janine took me places, Roosterkoek with butter ,jam and cheese, Sjoe felt the whole farm experience i love so much .At night the moon and stars were so bright .Electricity were not even needed.
