Excellent host that went above and beyond; was supposed to spend two days there ended up spending six. St. Lucia is a dream, but African Dreamz is a very special part of that. Owner was awesome and her husband and her can tell you all of the good things places to see. Saw Five rhinos. My six year old kid was also treated like a rock star.

Definitely avoid a room on the main street near restaurants etc as very noisy especially at night. But a very nice place to stay in St Lucia, a relaxing holiday vibe. Cape Vidal is stunning! Walks in Isimangaliso well worth it.

St Lucia is a lovely, small town that always feels safe to walk / cycle around during day and night. A nice selection of restaurants and coffee shops. Very friendly people. The absolute highlight are the wild hypos walking right across the town at night, right past you while you are having dinner!

St Lucia is a break away from a busy city life yet you're still in a town. A beautiful place to be adventurous and yet relaxed. The town is small enough to walk around in and enjoy the ambience. The boat cruise on the estuary is awesome. The many restaurants serve good food too

The place was amazing and really peaceful, we enjoyed our stay, our bad encounter was actually with the manager on site not the host. This was due to a misunderstanding. Our stay was really great, restaurants were a walking distance and so we're the shops.

Beautiful beaches and town.
Beautiful beaches and town. Boat trip on the Estuary was lovely. Best part was the drive to Cape vidal. Saw plenty of wildlife on the way including elephant, rhino, Buffalo, different types of buck and warthog.

St Lucia is clean.
St Lucia is clean. I was walking at night alone and felt safe. Enjoyed the cruise with Fannas to see the hippos.
Enough restaurants to eat out.
No beggars on street corners or street children.
The beaches are clean.
This is by far the most beautiful self catering lodge in St Lucia. This lodge and everything inside of it is brand new and the decor is exquisite. Perfect location. Beautiful pool and braai area and a tranquil view of the Forrest from the terrace. Don't think there is another self catering lodge that offers the same. I can highly recommend this lodge as it met all my expectations. Thank you for the warm welcome and great hospitality. I will most definitely visit again!
the accommodation is just perfect. they have a lovely garden, nice pool and breakfast was delicious (fresh fruits, cereals, eggs etc)
most of all: Ilze and Hennie where most helpful. unplanned I had to travel by myself, which is not the safest thing to do in South Africa. they helped me with everything: transfer, booking tours, getting around. they definitely helped me to feel most comfortable and safe - so thanks again for all!!
Everything was perfect, the location with the safaris around ( Hluluwe Imfolozi, ISimangaliso, St Lucia lake…)
The personel was amazing everybody was smiling, helpful and take care of us
The room was beautiful, we stayed 4 nights and we felt like we were at home
