Just off the mouth of the St Lucia Estuary and offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Lake View Cabanas is located in St Lucia. The resort offers a children's playground and bicycle rental. The apartment was very nicely appointed. It had everything we needed. We felt very much at home. The location was perfect, so close to the iSimangaliso wetland park, where just about every wild animal roams! It was safe, secure and quiet. Pool was nice, too. We would like to come and rent here again some day, but then for a month!

Luxury Tented Village @ Urban Glamping offers luxury tented accommodations in St Lucia. There is an outdoor swimming pool and large BBQ area where guests can mingle. This place was the best we have ever stayed. The staff is very friendly. The tent was so clean, nice, well decorated. Common areas and the kitchen area are super clean, tidy and welcoming. You really feel like you are home. We could stay here forever :) They also offer lots of tours. The restaurants around are very delicious with reasonable prices. The supermarket is super close by. You can drive easily to the beaches. We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. So welcoming and relaxing.

Adjacent to St Lucia Wetlands, Leopard Corner Lodge in St Lucia offers spacious rooms and an outdoor pool. The beach is1.1.2 mi away. Free WiFi is available. We loved our 2-night stay at Leopard Lodge! It is conveniently located in St. Lucia, a 5-minute drive from restaurants, the boardwalk, the beach, and the border of the park. Elsmerie was absolutely delightful in welcoming us, giving us key info, and arranging a great takeaway breakfast when we needed to leave early. The room was extremely comfortable, with a king size bed, air conditioning, and a lovely deck. The room was even equipped with a hairdryer, a rarity in South Africa! Breakfast on the morning we could stay for it was delicious out on the beautiful patio by the pool, and we so appreciated the fridge and coffee-making setup. We couldn’t have been happier. Highly recommended!

St Lucia
Located in St Lucia in the KwaZulu-Natal region, with Estuary Beach and Ingwe Beach nearby, Leopard Tree Lodge has accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking. The place was too beautiful, we enjoyed every second of our stay. The staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. My doughters did not want to leave that's how lovely the place was😊
I'm actually happy with the place it's very clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming except for 1 lady by the name of Nhlonipho with bald head and big artificial lashes. She has no respect whatsoever for guests. On Saturday when we woke up she came and asked if we would like our beds to be made and we said yes. Then whiles we were taking a shower she came to ask us when are we leaving? I then heard her saying that if we don't leave before 12pm she will then skip our rooms and not clean. When I went back to the room she was complaining about us as South Africans. She didn't care whether I was there or not she said we have no respect foreigners are much better. She also said whatever that we do at our homes we should also do at that place. We paid to be there so that we can take a break from our chores not to be lectured by someone who is working in a field that she is not happy to be in. She must get her act together before she looses her job due to her stinking attitude.
Everything was amazing at Hilltop Guesthouse,we received a very warm welcome, the Owner and staff were amazing.Next time i’d like to stay longer because i did not get to enjoy the beautiful view since we had only booked for one night. Ohhh and the breakfast was tasty.Clean peaceful place.Probably the best Guesthouse i have ever been to! We went to Barraca for dinner, great food! Loved the beach too😊
We were in a self-catering apartment at The Bridge and the shopping centre was right next door to us. Very convenient. You can walk all along the main street and do all your curio shopping. The restaurants all offered something different and the prices were quite reasonable for a tourist town. It is very easy to get around st Lucia. Lots of security and park rangers everywhere. We felt safe all the time, even at sunset on the beach. Hluhluwe is a 1 hour drive away which was a bonus for us. Unfortunately we only got too see the hippos in the water on our boat trip with Advantage Tours, but the kids really wanted to see the hippos walking around,
I loved the sight of hippos roaming freely among the people and town. I loved the serenity and the friendliness of the people. I enjoyed visiting the vendors and getting some great mementos to take home. The weather was glorious, even though it was Winter. The restaurants were a dream for any connoisseur. It was very easy to navigate around. The prices of the boat ride on the lake were too high, especially as there was no pensioners discount and the attendants at the moor had an attitude and kind of mocked us for querying if there was a pensioners discount. We only asked because other establishments offered a pensioner's discount so why should they make us feel ashamed of being pensioners? It was enough to have told us respectfully that there is no discount, but the guys laughed and mocked us saying we still have eyes, even if we are old, so we still can still all the attractions the boat ride offered. That was very disappointing and saddened us greatly.
Very disappointing to see what's come of the Estuary (central feature of this Unesco site) Seems Isimangaliso is not doing the necessary conservation. Overgrown reeds on the estuary - resulting in you not being able to see any wildlife from the banks or on the boat cruises of the estuary. Jetty's are not maintained. Mangrove trees have died, so little to no birdlife. Very sad. After 30+ years of visiting St Lucia, we will not return. We're heartbroken.
I think the town is not for African people. I have a feeling they would rather prefer a certain race to visit them. That is my personal feeling and experience. I will never set foot there if I can help it. My compatriots had a terrible experience too.
St Lucia
Pool area is to die for. It's equipped with braai area, it's big though it doesn't have pool lights inside. Rooms are cleaned daily. Reception available most times. Breakfast on time daily. No surprises. They need back up generator for load shedding. Inside parking is only for self catering... All B&B rooms park at the reception of which I won't recommend their B&B. Guys get self catering not B&B.. You will enjoy and want to stay more days
St Lucia
We had a really nice stay in Hennie and Ilze guesthouse. From the check in, where Hennie gave us all the informations needed concerning the guesthouse and touristic informations concerning Santa Lucia Area to the check out all was perfect. The house is located really close to the city center where you can find easily a lot of nice restaurants. The breakfast is freshly made every morning. Our best stay in South Africa.
St Lucia
Most beautiful lodge I have visited in a long time! Everything about this lodge is out of this world, all brand new and the location is bordering the forest allowing interaction with wildlife and many bird species. The units are very spacious and the decor is amazing. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend this jewel of a place for everyone visiting St Lucia. Thank you for the great hospitality too.
St Lucia
The host Colin was absolutely fantastic. He pays very careful attention to clients needs and always exceeds their expectations. Vegetarian breakfast was sumptuous and luxurious. Undoubtedly the best breakfast in St Lucia. Food is always at the right temperature as it is prepared when you arrive at breakfast. They have an in-house pastry chef who is really passionate about her baking.
St Lucia
Great value for money! This place is really beautiful, the design is something that we didn’t see until now on South Africa. The room is big and wonderful, the garden is so nice, the breakfast was exactly what we want - fresh and delicious. Everything was clean, and the team was so friendly- the recommendations they gave us was awesome! Really enjoyed, we will definitely return.
St Lucia
This was our very favorite place in our two week trip to South Africa. Loved the style of the room. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. All the extra touches were so nice too- suggestions on where to go, coolers to take with you for all-day trips, extra snorkeling equipment to borrow. Loved this place!
St Lucia
I recently spent a night at the St Lucia Kingfisher Lodge with my 2 young children. The triple room was extremely comfortable for the 3 of us, very clean and neat. Beds were very comfortable. The location of the lodge is nicely secluded from the main town and felt as if you were in the estuary.
St Lucia
The hotel is located in the best place and is perfect for families and also group of friends. The place is well maintained. Good and calm place and close to both the main street and the beaches. The well maintained rooms and clean washrooms is a BIG Thanks here.
St Lucia
One of the best accommodations we have had in South Africa. Good value for money. Very quiet and a braai space just for us. You will see wildebeest on your way. Not far from St Lucia and the wetland park which we also loved.
St Lucia
Has to be the best B&B in St Lucia. The bonus was the generator during load shedding, strong WIFI, modern and very clean, super comfortable bed. Stunning host, great home cooked breakfast.
St Lucia
Fantastic breakfast. Great location for getting around St. Lucia. Tessa is a delightful host. Lots of good information to share about the St Lucia area and the surrounding wildlife parks.
A super nice place to stay in St Lucia! You can walk easily to the market with souvenirs and to good restaurants. We would definitly stay here again!
St Lucia
Excellent accommodation in St. Lucia. Located close to the beach and restaurants. Comfortable room and beds. Would stay there again
St Lucia
The accommodation was perfect for family holidays. Its central to the beach and other activities in St Lucia. We loved it.
Nothing really made it seem worth the money we spent...we constantly questioned the hygiene in room and around the hotel.
St Lucia
easy to reach, even without a 4wd, after the heavy rains the days before there was a lot more water than expected, but everything was green and nature was exploding. A birders paradise, but you see a lot more animals and plants. The excursion/game drives were just great, we did book them at the lodge, but we took every chance to go out with Hayden, to see the huge biodiversity of iSimangaliso. Great to hang loose at the pool area, but hard to make a nap, so much to hear and see. Food is very good and the location the best in iSimangaliso, very relaxed atmosphere.

It was my son's engagement. The staff put out tablecloths, lanterns, bowls, braai equipment at the last minute. They went out of their way to accommodate us all. Everything was spotless and clean. Thank you! We only spent a short time there but it was lovely.
St Lucia
It's so peaceful, well kept and within walking distance to any shops you may need. The owners are amazing, and even texted about the one little bit of load shedding we had on the Friday night. It is lovely! We also had a garden unit which was beautiful.
St Lucia
The staff was really carefull and kind. We enjoyed a lot the activities offered by the lodge. We recommand the safari tour in Hluhluwe and the discovery of the cultural zulu village.
