The architecture is impressive, and the rooms and living spaces were beautifully decorated with a European/American flair. The entire unit is so beautiful, including the carefully manicured garden (including a koi pond and bridge) downstairs. The very kind and friendly hosts/caretakers were right on site to meet us, and they always magically appeared if we had any questions, but they were absolutely unobtrusive. I didn't realize at the time I booked what an ideal location it is, too -- less than 10 minutes from the train station (by car) and about 10 minutes to Kampung Warna Warni Jodipan (the colorful village.) It is also located a block in from a busy street, so it was quiet and away from noisy traffic. As this was the final stop on our travels through Java, it provided the perfect, peaceful ending to an active trip!
