Wow, that was what we both said as soon as we arrived here. It's a beautiful and spacious house with a lovely view of the surrounding natural area with many bats flying around at night, which was amazing to see. We were greeted with welcome drinks and were happy that they arrved dinner until 10pm. We only stayed a night but would have loved to stay longer. Highly recommend!

I do not believe a single one of these good reviews. We stayed two nights and were offered almost nothing. WiFi didn’t work, no potential for food, no one around in the morning even for hot water for tea or coffee, dirty sheets, wet smelly towels. No common aerea, no kitchen. We were shown our room and then had to ask where the bathroom was, at which point we were offered a massage - we are two girls. The room had a fan, the windows were open so mosquitos were a problem and there was no net for the bed. It’s also loud as the main road is right there. The location is up a very steep hill, pick me didn’t work and almost no food options in the area. The worst part was the owner smoking and partying in the house with his friends at night. At one point they took MY SHOES on a beer run. I tried to go for dinner and my shoes were gone! The two men, strangers, who were still at the house had no idea where my shoes were and were completely unbothered that my shoes were missing! An hour later I went to check, the host was back drinking with his friends, as were my shoes but they hadn’t bother to inform me. We paid the night before leaving as we had an early train the next day, and he offered to get us to the station at 8am. Next day we waited until 830am at the door for him to wake up. His party friend also tried to wake him up with no success. It was raining and we had to stop a tuktuk passing by on the street to rush us to the station or we would have lost our train. It’s up an hill and no tuktuk will came from the app PickMe. He didn’t message to apologize. Nothing.

We had a wonderful time....the room especially the bed was so comfortable and very clean. Excellent location... So close to everything you need. And the best part is the value of the roomrate and amazing. We loved spending time with the owner Shan. He is very friendly and respectful. We will for sure come and stay at the Kingston Court from now on... This is out new hand out place in kandy.

My wife and I absolutely loved this place when we visited Sri Lanka for hiking and to immerse ourselves in nature. I couldn't have asked for a better location—it's perfect for both hiking and enjoying the natural beauty of the location. The hospitality from the staff, especially Isuru, was outstanding. They made sure we both enjoyed our meals, accommodating my wife's request for non-spicy food while still catering to my love for spicy dishes. The master room we stayed in was spotless, and the cleanliness throughout was impressive. We’re definitely planning to return in March. Highly recommended—five-star service and location!
