This place is one of a kind. Beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated, it offers a peaceful sanctuary in the heart of the lush mountains of the Sintra Cascais Natural Reserve. The views from every angle are breathtaking. The location couldn't be better. You can enjoy the tranquility of village life while staying well connected to all points of interest. The kitchenette includes the basics for simple cooking, perfect for when you feel like staying in. Special thanks to our wonderful hosts, who were incredibly responsive to any questions or issues. The house was amazing. Far beyond our expectations from the listing and pictures. Beautifully renovated old house on a large property in the middle of Sintra. A beautiful 20 minute (hilly) walk to the historical downtown, but cobblestone streets with restaurants outside of the gate to the residence in a lively part of the town that feels incredibly local. Couldn't image a better location or a better house in the area. Carolina, the host, was also very communicative and professional. Had I known what we'd be getting with the place, we would have reorganized our trip to stay longer here and use it as a home base to explore other parts of the country.

Clean, comfortable beds, great bathrooms and the shower was wonderful!! They even left us a lovely bottle of wine. There were lots of windows for light and fresh air, as well as heaters for use if needed.

Very nice inside, very big. We booked on short notice and got a room. About 45 minutes from Lisbon. About 30 minutes to sintra and a beach or 2. Staying here saved our vacation after our air BNB scammed us! Thank you so much!
