The location is lovely and it is very peaceful. We loved the on site restaurant and the owners of the restaurant were both extremely warm and welcoming and made us feel at home.

Nestled in the scenic Banhoek Valley, Zorgvliet features an outdoor pool with views of the Simonsberg Mountain, wine tastings and picnics as well as Padel courts at the foot of the mountain.

Lovely historic property, nice area to walk around and do sculpture tour. Cottage was very well appointed with comfortable beds and good facilities. Wine tasting was great (R80) and food was excellent. Wonderful breakfast.

Excellent breakfasts, hospitality and service! Room was clean, gardens lush and two pools for refreshment; we felt like we were really “at home” and so warmly and professionally treated. Very safe, too.
