I loved the feel of this boutique hotel and the decor of my suite, adding a touch of rustic elegance. The vegeterian breakfast was a spread of delights with a Mexican twist, with the sound of a pool waterfall as the perfect morning backdrop. The owners, a friendly Australian couple, not only extended a personal welcome to each guest, but were on hand (via WhatsApp) to give tips and guidance on things to do (and avoid). All staff were fabulous, and I need to give Mel a shout-out who looked after me exceptionally well. The hotel is a keeper and I may well go back to Merida just to stay here again.

I really enjoyed my time at Hacienda Merida VIP. The building has historical charm and there’s no better way to feel the weight of Merida’s history. The room was very big and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the swimming pool area. They actually had 3 pools, one for each section. One of the highlights is the location, right in the middle of the old town. Everything we wanted to visit was within a 10-minute walking distance. It was a great stay!

Gorgeous hacienda type hotel right in the centre of Merida. Such a lovely welcome from the owners - very helpful with local information, restaurant recommendations things to do etc. Such a pleasant courtyard/pool area to relax in (also a second! pool for lounging by). Nice bar in the hotel and generally a pleasing place to wander around. The room was nice- four poster bed was big and comfortable. The air con seemed a bit underperforming though but there was also a ceiling fan so we were comfortable. Parking (free) is just around the corner, the very helpful owner will go with you to find it which was great.

This hotel is located in the center of Merida, Yuctan Mexico. The historic 19th century hotel offers an outdoor pool, massage services and a flat-screen TV in every room.

The location was very fine for us. Being closer to the cathedral means more traffic and noise. The walking distance from the hotel to the cathedral makes that you are in a more quiet environment. The walking distance is maybe 15 minutes max. The breakfast is diversifying. The included breakfast (continental) was more than expected with fresh pressed coffee (capucino), a choice of many beautiful pastries (made on site) and fresh fruit. You can also choose breakfast "a la carte". The whole place is an experience! The decor, the woodwork (Mexican mahogany), the natural garden, the courtyard and the owner's 2 live-in parrots make this place very special!

Beside the Myan Museum, and in the modern part of town. A nice reprieve after being in the historic centre for a few days. Nice room and fabulous staff. Tasty breakfast with good range of restaurant meals if you didn't want to venture out. Off the tourist tour puck up route but providers sent a car for additional $100mxn.

What a beautiful hotel right in Merida city center! The facilities are incredible comfortable, even the unusual exterior shower that was a pleasant surprise! There is a near by car parking. The hotel staff is really nice and helpful! We couldn’t have chosen a better stay for our trip.
